and some people including me cant stand charging the power bank for 10 hours - thats why i get QC 2.0 both ways power bank, 10k mah for AUD25!
no QC no deal any more!
also the safety issue. if you are charging power bank overnight (well most of us are) who knows what will happen in the middle of the night!
you may never known.
Far lower chance of problems than with a fast charge.
This is why I charge my powerbanks at work.
Fear mongering at its finest. You should get a job on Turnbulls ministry.
where? what brand?
Secret not telling you.. Kidding just search here.. Yesterday posts
This is a nice upgrade on the old 8400mah model! I wonder if it's more compact too (albeit longer).
Don't forget these usually have pass through charging too - like all the good brands.
What an explosive deal!
Only if you plug an S7 or three in!
Use an USB Hub for more fire power!
Load it up into a Samsung K9 Thunder and rain justice from above!
@scrimshaw: I do not want to know what would happen if you did on top of a Samsung washing machine. Nuclear fission reaction?
S7 didn't explode. What are you on about?
What an explosive deal!

Has this got quick charge?
I'm sure it's quicker than the aldi one ;)
no you need to get the version number 2 of that 10k mah power bank
Last time this Charger was Advertised by ALDI but recalled before hit the shelf. I don't know why - Lets hope this one has no issues. Good Local Price, but I prefer the reliability and price competitiveness of the Xiaomi's over other brands, and I don't mind waiting for it to be sent from OS.
My Xiaomi 16000mah is starting to give up the ghost. Used to be able charge G4 3 times, now 1 full charge plus a bit left. Wonder if I should stick to Xiamoi or try one of these. At least with this one, it would conform to Australian standards, and if it exploded and burnt my house down, insurance should cover.
What Australian standards are there that cover power banks?
Dunno for sure, but I assume there would be some safety standard.
We have standards? How the (profanity) did Abbott become PM for a while? #mindblown
It's Aldi. You've got 2? Months to decide. If it's shit, take it back
When I googled "12000 3usb" I found the same power bank(different brand) on staples US: http://www.staples.com/12-000-mAh-Power-Bank-with-3-USB-Outp… (the white powerbank costs US$12.99, 49.99 is clearly overpriced)
Maybe it's a white label product so it's possible to find some reviews ?
Bought this today. Displayed prominently on the pack was "pre-charged to 60%" and ready for use.
Plugged it in………dead……….
Called the customer service line. They were very disinterested and said "yeh… prolly lost some of its charge eh?"
Haha! Anyway, Ill take it back and try again - at least Aldi has an awesome returns / exchange policy
Mine was completely discharged.. Charging now..
It took about 6 hours to charge and seems to be working perfectly now
Looking at the photo super closely it seems this has 1x 2.1A output and 2x 1A ones.
These days I can't stand charging on 1A and would hope to get one with 2.4A for fast charge
