  • Good deal OP, this is a solid laptop, just curious though if anyone here can find a similar priced laptop with equivalent specs (around $1100 to $1400)?

  • I bought this same model for $1200 during the last 20% eBay sale. It's a solid machine, I'm happy with my purchase.

  • +1

very cool deal. I'm considering this or the 7th gen i7 XPS 13's for $1600..

  • Anything similar spec don't mind a bit less powerful but price is under thousand dollars mark?

  • Shouldn't the display:
    3,200-by-1,800-pixel display (276ppi)

    But just FHD, why?

    • Ignore the "marketing" pics in the listing, it says "up to" so this particular unit on offer is FHD, but can be optioned up from ASUS to get 3,200 x 1,800 px - not that I can think of why anyone would want to… in a 13 inch laptop!

Those pics also show 16 GB Ram and 512 GB SSD (they are just options and not available with this listing).

  • I need to get two laptops (twins) with these specs for the kids for high school next year, but I'm wondering how durable these are. Is anyone who owns one able to tell?

Is the ASUS premium care any good as well?

Otherwise it might have to be something like this:

    • I can't speak for this model as I don't have it but I have the older model of it (UX305UA) which is essentially the same thing except for minor upgrades such as type c Port and backlight keyboard as far as I know.

It's a really solid device, made out of a single block of aluminium. The ASUS customer service is good IMO.

  • Thanks MysticalWok
