I purchased a 5-wash pack from The Wash Depot Richmond back in July and have only used it twice. I've just come back from overseas and found out that the business has shut down. I have the name and mobile number of the owner, but he's very unresponsive and not replying to texts or calls. I've heard that they're not honouring this wash pack at their other location in Brunswick either. Is there anything I can do in terms of reporting them and/or try to get my money back in any way..?

They will just buy the domain name
You're an unsecured creditor. It's likely the two businesses are run as separate entities. /looks - Are they a franchise? If so, contact the master franchisee.
1) Ring the Brunswick store and ask if they are honoring the wash packs from the other store.
2) Decide if it's worth going there for the value of the item.
3) Contact your states fair trading department for advice on what your options are.
4) For the value of the item, it's probably not worth pursuing except for the principal of the thing.
Did you pay by credit card? If so a charge back.
Forget it, pointless exercise.
I hate to say it but you're right. Don't waste your time chasing a fruitless tree…
I concur….
…but there are businesses that thrive on taking money from their customers, and then declare bankruptcy and take off with the profits. It is highly illegal but the practice goes on to this day. Its real, not a children's horror story.
So one must always be careful.
I work around there was about to buy a 10x wash card, lucky I didn't.
It's cheap with the 5x or 10x wash card.
Are you sure they have closed down or renovating due to the building works. They have been there for years, taking over another car wash place in the same location.
Hope that Kogan buys them out and gives you some sympathy credit.
