    They have 40,000.. I'm sure those 3 random free courses you tried in the past were representative of the entire site. >.>

    I've done about two dozen, and have found most of them to be excellent. If one ends up being subpar.. You paid $0 dollars for it.

    It's a valid warning. A lot of courses are made by internet marketers out of their depth. Since the quality of information rarely surpasses what's free on YouTube it would feel wasteful to pay RRP for them.

    For coding and graphical applications the quality at Lynda, for example, is much more consistent in my experience. A lot of Udemy courses target budding entrepreneurs ("no prior knowledge necessary") rather than budding specialists.

    Saying that, I just checked out a few of these courses and all 4 I checked so far spoke clearly and didn't sound like greasy salesmen! This is NOT my usual experience…I might even +1 this deal if a course checks out.

  I use teamtreehouse.com and I personally think it has higher quality of courses. thanks TA for sharing anyway!
