yep reported for removal
Hmm.. Is it a good price for 4tb desktop anyway?
seems to be a good price according to this deal
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/267630
But again TA posted the deal so most likely upvoted for the OP and not the deal
Boom so true.
Such love between you two…
You reap what you sow.
Not for Seagate. Seagate are a horrible brand with very low reliability IMHO.
I was panicking since I already lodged an order on the Amazon deal for $155.. Lucky its the desktop version here.
Hi Guys,
Sorry we made a mistake, this isn't the same drive. Its a 3.5" Desktop drive.
our bad!
i will leave the price up for ozbargainers for the weekend anyway.. these are below our cost. So if it helps anyone out, then good show.
Warehouse1
ive asked the mods to keep the deal up Rep
BTW rep, are these 3 year warranty or only 1 year warranty (as per amazon deal)
3 Years for the Aussie warranty :)
Awesome deal. Thanks for that. Have bought 1.
Warehouse1? Avoid like the plague.
I was going to purchase but change my mind after reading all those comments.
Thanks for the heads up.
That's odd. I ordered ML10s on the last deal and a bunch of patch cables and switches. Only gripe was it came in three deliveries with three different courier's however it was all fast. When they forgot the patch cables they covered the cost of an express replacement delivery.
I've ordered from them many times without an issue. unfortunate to see so many bad reviews. I guess it's a lucky dip. most reviews I read was rude customer service, not having stock that they promised, refunds taking a long time.
Bad reviews in store. 99.5% rep on eBay.
Ordered a printer via eBay and received it on the day expected.
Thank you for letting us know how bad they are
Yep these guys get hammered on whirlpool as well
Can this drive be taken out and used in a NAS?
Is any one able to tell us which 3.5" drive is inside this case? It's too early in the morning for my googling skills to work. No coffee, can't brain.
Hi Guys,
you will notice our eBay feedback is quite a contrast with the above, with very good feedback, eBay has genuine buyers.. whirlpool and other places, anyone can write whatever they want, true or not.

have a nice weekend :)
Warehouse1
Maybe due to ebay protection that the seller is paying more attention to buyers.
Generally speaking, bad reputations are earned
I doubt everyone is having a go at that level on whirpool just for amusement.
It's good that you take your Ebay reputation seriously though.
@Warehouse1: Your reviews on Google are bad. That being said though, I purchased a printer off you last week via eBay and I got it on the day expected (thank you).
I'm willing to put money on the idea that you guys sell the same stock on eBay and on your site and deal with eBay's orders first.
OW West Ryde beat it at $142.50 in store.
Nice.
Almost guaranteed to fail within a year if filled. Most likely using WD Green drives, which have a terible track record.
Seagate using WD drives now hey? Nice one.
But yeah reliability isn't that great. Not as bad as the problematic 1.5TBs though —> https://www.backblaze.com/blog/hard-drive-reliability-stats-…
Or the equivalent of WD greens. They're cheap for a reason, after all.
Most cheaper external cases will contain cheap drives, manufacturers are banking on that they won't be used as heavily as interior drives.
Any chance for larger capacity internal drives? 6TB/8TB? Looking to upgrade the drives in my NAS.
Cheers.
Whirlpool can attract some good contributors,
but also some complete maniacs who are trust kiddies not working and just bonging on and complaining about everybody else to make their little egos feel a bit less useless.
My (admittedly my only) experience with Warehouse1 was a joy.
I had a taxi waiting outside, they processed my server in a jiffy and we had a nice quick chat. I appreciated that their margins are among the lowest and that they provide a great service so I met them half way with reasonable expectations and none of third party couriers.
If you actually take the trouble to think about what you are buying…..a bargain basement product and get off your fat posterior and go and pick it up (assuming you can do that) or have expectations commensurate with a low margin seller then your life will get better and so will those about you.
Sophocles.
