Few different colours/designs. I have a few of these I bought for a few bucks each and I like them as they are cast and not stamped/rolled sheet like some of the real cheap dodgy ones.

Only $3.58 apiece.

  • What does "Three Models" mean? Is it supposed to say "Three Modes"? But then it says "Switch: Tail-cap press ON/OFF". I just want ON & OFF. I don't want any other flashing or brightness modes.

  • yeah pretty sure, it's not 1200LM but even if it's a fake cree led, it should still be relatively bright, according to various reviews anyway. What i'm trying to wonder is how long a single eneloop battery would last in these.

    • +1

Got 2 of those which I often use for home projects etc. With Ikea alkaline AA since 4 years ago, they still shine bright as day 1. No 1200lm but not bad for $3.50 torchlight.

  • Similar torches availabile for $US2.14 on AliExpress. For a little more you can have a choice of colours.

Cheaper still is this Tiny AAA Cree Q5 LED for US$0.99.

There are a wide range of Cree Q5 torches.

  • -1

Absolute junk with lying specs and poor build quality

    • +2

I bought an identical looking one a few years ago for a few bucks off eBay and have to say I am very happy with it (obviously not 1200lm though but I know that going in). I ended buying about 5 more for friends who were all very happy with them and keep one in each car. No sign of poor build quality on mine.

      • What about memory? Don't you usually have to click through 5 modes or so?

        • +1

Mine is just on/off which is what I want. I don't want any extra modes in a low brightness torch. I have a triple 18650 fairly bright one that it makes sense to have brightness modes but I don't want it in this type.

      • Great for the price. I've got a bunch and also a bunch of eneloops to keep them going - great for the kids when camping, I strap them to the bikes at night, use them when putting out the rubbish late at night, etc.

  • +2

Hard to say if they're exactly the same as there's dozens of similar ones floating around the internet but these are really good. Cheap and bright enough to be worth putting a few around the house/car/bag.

Seen them cheaper but certainly worth $4 or so easily.

  • anybody know roughly the running time a fully charged eneloop would last in one of these torches?

  • Purchased from ozcctv and even though on the description it reads on/off type switch I got the annoying 3 mode type Full/Low/Flashing. Not happy…
