Awesome deal, but no Band 28 support is a deal breaker

    • Yep too many other phones with 1080p and band 28 around now …..these Chinese phones filled a gap for 1070p and print readers but lots of other options now……guess good for Chinese students as better rom and support than Australian models.

      • Edit.. Not worth it

I have read a few reviews on this device and its clear its amazing value for money with great battery life. Camera is mediocre in low light and has questionable build quality (flex in housing) but for $260 brilliant

    Thanks op bought one.

  • At the risk of sounding stupid I have a few questions:
If I currently have a phone (Nokia Lumia 530) which does NOT have 4G, what disadvantage does not having Band 28 bring? (obviously more bands = better options but the Nokia fills the requirements without these currently)
If I live in the city and mostly only interested in calls, not data download speed, is this option still a significant upgrade?
If I travel to the country, can't I still make/receive calls (not too interested in data in the country)?

    Currently on Internode/Optus network.

    TIA

4G is for data only.. It covers every voice band on all 3G networks.. So no issue with calls in rural areas (well no more than any other phone)
