mine too, other brands taste muddy to me compared to dilmah.
these used to have individual seal packs of 50 inside to keep them fresh but I notice they dont do it now (well not the last few packs we've bought.)
I buy 100 packs and don't keep them sealed, I don't notice a taste difference. Tea keeps for quite awhile.
