Saw this deal at local Big W Auburn NSW. Shark Profesional Lift away vacuum cleaner for $99 with a RRP $449 as pictured. Not sure if store specific but salesman said these are being cleared out as newer model has came in. These are suppose to rival Dyson according to their ads. 7 left as i post this ad.
some prior models had some significant product recalls; but I'm not sure if Shark has shaped up since then.
If you have carpet, these are pretty awesome, I used it for a few weeks before returning and buying a Dyson, however the shark seemed to work a lot better on the carpet I think mainly due to the motorised head. For that price it shits on any other vacuum in the price range (better than my $ 800 Dyson.
So sorry why did you return it for a dyson if it worked better? Was it that bad on hard floors?
To be honest, I got sucked into the Dyson hype, my wife didn't like having an upright so I switched. We've since bought a hand stick vacuum and only use the Dyson once every couple of months. In hindsight we would have kept the shark and combined with the hand stick.

always purchase with a credit card so they can look it up anyway.
Yeah, the Shark product company is very dodgy from my experience, saw one on clearance during the DSE sale and prior to purchasing I called the support number on the box just to check their service center location and was told by their staff that they will not honor the warranty as I'm buying from Dick Smith, and they are going out of business, regardless if it stated that "Full Manufacturers Warranty are in effect".
Dodgy as, never trust this brand.
aren't all of the products flogged on tv all shonky? thats the reason postage is so high and their money back guarantee never covers postage
Most are as 90% of the cost base in their spamlike advertising, but I think Shark vacuums are actually good. Although these things are drastically marked up in Australia so unlike the US it's probably not particularly great value. $100 is a no brainer though if you need one.
oh damn! I already own a dyson. Should have done the ozbargain thing buy first and think later. lol.
We've had this for a few years and its still going great.
I'm pretty happy with it - and for this price would definitely recommend.

Bought it to replace a $600 Electrolux after a bloke at work recommended it. Works awesome on carpet and fantastic for pet hair.
Still would rather have a Dyson… that being said. Smokes for $100!
no matter how good it might be, there are only 7 units only in auburn. i hope my local bigw will clear their stock at this price too (if they do stock this model).

Went to BigW Auburn Sunday morning to try my luck, but they were gone..
The sales guy was unloading some Shark NV350 Navigator Lift Away Vacuum Cleaners, he said these are selling for $100, so i got one..
There were two more left, but i think they will be gone now as I write this comment.

Just used it.. works great… sucked alot of dust from the rug.

Missed at Auburn and staff advised me to check merrylands. There's just one NV 350 pink/purple colored for $100
$99 is a top price for this. We got it through TVShop a couple of years ago for $300
