Most Squash centres I remember whilst growing up have sadly closed down…

    • heyyyyy a jv post with POSITIVE votes! what gives?

But yes as a squash player it's bloody hard finding a place to play these days

      whilst growing up

      When did that happen?

      • I think in the 1980s squash was the fitness trend and probably as common as going to the gym these days.

        edit: whoosh

        • +1

Yeah they just bulldozed the one at my local, replacing it with a fuel station. Loved it and definitely fun after my initial thoughts that it would have been boring.

  • Awesome!!

    1.95% credit card fee :(

    Otherwise a great deal.

    • +3

That's Visa/MC and as stated in OP, 3.2% for Amex! Almost wiped out the savings for the 4% Coles gift card. Reducing the discount to 2.64% with Visa/MC and 1.44% with Amex. Not worth the hassle. Still looking for ways to get discounted Coles gift cards :(

      • +1

AGLRewards has the coles egiftcard 5% off and 1% v/mc fee.

        Typically 4%off

        Not too bad

        • I'm with AGL and never knew about this, thanks for the heads up :-)

      • Can always get 5% off Coles e gift cards from CGU, no surcharges at all. I have been getting it for few years.

  • Officeworks 4.5%
    The Good Guys 6%

    This is good!

    • CGu offers 7.5% off for the good guys.

      • How do I get that one?

        • +1

If you have insurance with CGU, you will get a membership where you can get this discount for the good guys.

        • @Lengyi3211:
I dont have insurance with CGU :(

  • Which one is better compared to Blatchy Blues ?

    • Blatchy offer slightly higher discounts (0.5-1% better), but charge $4.95/yr, so depends on how much you're gonna spend

You'd get your $5 back on $500+ spend on most stores, or $1000+ on Coles GCs.

        Why ?

  • Can't use Coles egift card for Coles Online

    • and in store scanners are sucked too for scanning the on screen or even printed out paper voucher, it's a pain to read or show the staff to input the code too and not always correct for first time, time consuming and blah blah

      • +1

thought it was just me - never ever had success scanning.

        • +1

manually input and it is a pain for that mere discount, Woolies' egift card much much easier and you can even do it on the POS

      • +1

There's a special scanner at self checkouts at Coles. It's the scanner that also holds the temporary flybuys cards - you're supposed to scan gift cards there, I believe.

        • i use the right one, it's just never worked for me (scanning the pic on my phone). haven't tried with a printed copy, i should.

      • +2

If you use the little flybuys scanner attached to register works easier.

        • i use the right one, it's just never worked for me (scanning the pic on my phone). haven't tried with a printed copy, i should.

        • it doesnt work with mobile image. works ok for printed. Then it shouldnt be called "eGift card"

        • @bargainhunter_dande: works on my phone screen

  • What happens after Jan 2017 ? Will they charge annual fee and if so how much ?

    • There is no word on this yet. I have asked for this information.

    • +2

They WILL charge for membership, these benefits programs cost money…they need to recoup their costs

      • These guys are using the same rewards provider as Blatchy's, but offering less of a discount - so I imagine they're taking a small cut from each sale (much like CashRewards do).

They shouldn't have a need to charge a membership fee

    Site must be OzBargained.

  • Squash courts opened in the new ARC centre in Campbelltown.

This is going to end up like the Charity one from a couple of years back where they said they are a small organisation and cannot handle so many members.

    • +1

I don't think so. This is powered by Loyalty Corp Australia.

Can one buy tobacco with these discounted gift cards?

  • Ozbargained?

  • Why was this marked expired? A website having issues is not an indication of expiry of the deal.

  • Post updated with instructions.

    • Given the Blatchy's Blues discounts dropped dramatically, have these dropped as well? I don't have an account so can't check, can you please? :)

      • Currently the discounts on gift cards are the same as listed above.

  • +1

Thanks, have just been given membership. Just took an email and a few days wait.

  • purchased a $100 E-gift card from Squash few weeks ago, was trying to use it in Coles tonight, it shows $0 credit, does it happened to anyone?

  • With devaluing of Blatchys rewards, this is a much better option now.
