    Very very tempting. Was looking at this the moment I heard the 20% sale was coming.

    Although, I'll need to budget for a new graphics card….. The cheapest compatible (60hz @ 4k) seems to be ~$145.

      Perfectly suited to video or photo editing. I think they just choose to promote the gaming angle as the monitor supports freesync and 4k. @ 60hz,.

      Unless you game with an AMD Card, too. You'll only need to look for any high resolution IPS Monitor (Or Samsung's PLS Monitors, they're practically the same) as IPS/PLS Monitors provide superior colours and image quality.

      This monitor seems to be the cheapest IPS 4K monitor on FutuOnline, so I guess FreeSync can be considered a bonus for you.

    Does Freesync require the monitor be able to go above 60hz?
    75hz is my minimum….

    FreeSync and 4k don't really go together. You would struggle to get decent framerate at that resolution.

    if i connect this to my macbook pro 13 inch which i bought last month, would it provide the same retina clarity? I was utterly disappointed when i connected it to the normal 1080p monitor(24inch)

          Pleasure! The HDMI cable supplied with the monitor works like a dream. Looking forward to plugging a 3rd Gen Google Chromecast with 4K when that comes out straight into the monitor
