  • 24 Bottles for $5.43!! …. oh wait..

  • I note delivery counts to the min spend for voucher,
    so you can get the Mclaren Vale Magic dozen for $80 delivered. Cheap, but kind of normal price for house-brand wines.
    Pennys Hill seems to be an actual winery, also available at Dan's for $99/doz, but mail-order only, not sold in shops. ie Dan's just takes a cut for putting it on their website.

  • good price

  • Last dozen i got yesterday they had changed 4 of the bottles with wine that was not as good, with out telling me. If I was you id call up and ask if they have stock on ALL bottles before you order.

    Thank you to the editor of title. Much improved.

  • Cheers Bluey!

    Can't wait to get my hands on the Mclaren Vale Magic pack. Sounds awesome for $5.50 odd a bottle after cashrewards!

      Yes Rusty, the Mclaren Vale Magic pack looks to be the better of the two dozens despite being $10 less.
      In retrospect my better choice may have been to simply do two separate orders for the Mclaren Vale Magic pack.
      Thanks to Jamesx 14 hours 40 min ago for identifying the Mclaren Vale Magic pack.

      Cellarmasters lower priced dozens often include wine labels only seen at Cellermasters or Myer wine club or NZ Wine Society or other outlets under their corporate umbrella. I think of these as likely akin to a Coles "Home Brand" label. These are likely the "fillers" in the dozen. The odd one rates well with buyers.

      By doing a Google of the wine name, a check can be made as to:
      - could the label be bought from other retailers?
      - is there a source winery website?
      - is there a website for this label?
      - are there ratings or recommendations that pop up for this label?

      The Mclaren Vale Magic pack scores against this Google check on the following three bottles:
      * Penny's Hill Red Dot Mclaren Vale Merlot 2014 - from an actual winery "Winery rated 5 stars, James Halliday"
      * Di Fabio Mclaren Vale Grenache Shiraz 2014 - from an actual winery
      * Burns And Fuller Shiraz 2014 - blenders website, label can be purchased from other sources

      The Bin End Shiraz dozen scores against this Google check on the following two bottles:
      * Penley Estate Coonawarra Hyland Shiraz 2013 - other sellers
      * Big Jetty Bay Geographe Shiraz 2014 - winery sourced

    WOW, Cashrewards confirmed the Mclaren Vale Magic buy with these details:

    Sale value: AUD 108.18 *
    Expected cashback: AUD 8.66

    WTF, I only payed $70.2 ?

    • PricePal 8.55% similarly on a higher amount than what I paid.
      My two PricePal, Cellarmasters dozens cashbacks finally appeared this morning:
      * 30/09/2016 07:28:00 Cellarmasters $117.27 $10.03 $0.00 Recorded Dec-2016
      * 30/09/2016 07:05:00 Cellarmasters $108.18 $9.25 $0.00 Recorded Dec-2016

      I paid:
      Mclaren Vale Magic; I paid $70.20 (showed in PricePal as $108.18)
      Bin End Shiraz; I paid $80.20 (showed in PricePal as $117.27)

  • Seems like the codes have expired.

  • Picked up my two dozens today from BWS. All twelve different wines are as listed in the Mclaren Vale Magic pack and the Bin End Shiraz pack.

    $4.63 per bottle is my final price paid, if the cash back is eventually paid to me as recorded in my Price Pal account. Pleased with the result.

  • Has anyone started receiving calls from CNS life insurance (0730602204) or The Consumer Advantage Group (0286082424) since entering their details with Cellarmasters? May be a coincidence though I have not had marketing calls in years and now a week after creating an account with Cellarmasters it starts… I haven't signed up for anything else recently.
