All Vodafone customers will be eligible to receive a bonus 2GB of data.

It’s our way of saying sorry to those customers affected by a router malfunction which caused intermittent disruption to mobile services last night and this morning. It’s also to say thank you to our other customers for their loyalty.

Postpaid customers will receive an additional 2GB of data during their October or November billing cycle to be valid for the entire billing month.

When prepaid customers recharge between 7 October, 2016 and 6 November, 2016 they will receive a one-off additional 2GB to be used during the length of their recharge.

Customers will be notified when the additional 2GB of data is applied. The data will be applied automatically and usage can be monitored via MyVodafone. The data is for use within Australia.

    Very disappointed with voda fail. My prepaid sim expired yesterday and I dun intend to recharge as i still have plenty of prepaid SIM cards to use. But I really needed to make a call when the outage happened. What horrendous timing.

      I think that if you begin a starter pack or wait to recharge during the nominated time, you are sure to receive it.

    HEAR HEAR….. Voda is the BOMB! I stuck with them through their darkest days and been reaping the rewards ever since. Now this. More power to them.

    BTW thanks to Voda (yet again) for the three months free subs to Stan. Loving it and been bingeing on Fringe, Roadies, etc. :)

      Does it apply for the prepaid 365 day pay as you go recharge? I.e. can i use the free 2gb data over 365 days?

        You can. But the T&C state recharge.
        Not sure if activating a starter pack as 365 day plan will work !

    1) Activate a $2 Vodafone Starter Pack;
    2) Buy a $5 Vodafone Recharge Voucher from IGA;
    3) At 12:30am, Call 1555 & Recharge your $5 Vodafone Recharge;
    3) Do you Immediately get the 2GB? If not, Vodafone lied & no, it doesn't work.

    If this works, all other Recharges will work!!!

    I didn't realise that there was an outage? I was pleasantly surprised when I received my 2GB notification which will be applicable at the end of my October billing cycle. Vodafone is the best and oh, I hate Apple with a passion……….

      I just recharged $20 for 365 days and I got the 2GB bonus data within 10minutes of the recharge :)

    Can I use a starter pack to recharge an existing number (so I get data roll over)?

    P.S. I had no phone service with 2/3 or 4G for 3 days.
