Years ago I drank sugary white coffee. The sugar increased to 3½ maximum-heaped teaspoons until the cup's content approximated 24% sugar. One morning I awoke knowing I had ceased the habit and began drinking black coffee without sugar. Which was an unusual drink in 1973. Twice, workmates made me a "normal" mug of coffee thinking I was joking. One asked if he could watch me drink it black, and did so.
The concept of paying perhaps 1,000% more using pods, capsules, and machines with scary Italian names is therefore unconscionable to me. My stepson made me a mug recently - it was fine, but I barely resisted saying "we are indoors and this cost nearly $1".
Today, Target had 6 different 250g packs of The Fabulous Food Company coffee:-
Aussie Grown Ground - Australian Single Origin (best before 09 Dec 17)
Aussie Grown Beans - " " " " " "
Urban Blend Ground - Fairtrade & Organic (best before 18 Jan 18)
Urban Blend Beans - " " " " "
Café Blend Ground - Rainforest Alliance
Café Blend Beans - " " " " "
I only purchased 1 each of the 1st and 3rd, as I have several kilos to get through and I try not to go over $5 per kilo.

Sadly, this is not much use with a $2,000 Morezzinato Luxinello Intimidatore Turbo Nutter Bastard Ghia 4.3 Deluxe.
Good story.
No idea what the bargain is.
