Aldi medium roast is about $17 for 1kg.

Coles urban culture beans are better at $15/kg

        • Thanks, might try them next time. Do they have the roast date printed like Aldi?

          • +1

@WatchNerd: They used to, though I just checked a packet at hand and it only shows best before.

        • Coles urban beans up to $18 at my local, as of this week.

      • Was buying this, but could get Inglewood Sunset Blvd for the same price so been getting that.

Recently got a 250g of Inglewoods Lazy Daze, and absolutely hated it.

        • How? Even at 50% it's $30+/kg + shipping

      • Tried it, a bit dull compared to the other offerings that pop up here.

    • Hi!

For a medium roast we recommend trying our signature blend Solstice.

A bit about Solstice: With velvety hazelnut notes, this refined two-bean blend from Papua New Guinea and Honduras offers a perfectly balanced cup. Bold, striking chocolate tones melt effortlessly on the palate, delivering a luxurious depth of flavour.

Flavour profile: chocolate, butterscotch and toffee.

Great if you like a milk based coffee.

      Enjoy!

      Hi Mirage,

  • Welcome to Ozbargain @driproastcoffee!!
Ordered 2 kgs from Melbourne, Supernova and Rift blends .

    Looking forward to my batch!

    • Thanks for supporting us. It means a lot!

Great choices 😉, Rift has been very popular!

We really hope you love our beans. Please let us know your thoughts once you’ve tried them!

  • Thanks. Ordered Rift and Supernova. Hope its good for black coffees.

    • Fantastic! Thanks so much ordering Drip. Supernova is my go to for black coffee and Rift is super popular for both, so great choices!

  • Hello @driproast , which one would be high caffeine and less acidic. Something like Sumatra blend. Thanks

    • Hello!

The strongest blend we roast is Equinox.

About Equinox blend: Infused with toffee and brown sugar notes, this distinguished two-bean blend delivers a full-bodied yet elegantly nuanced flavour profile. Inspired by the artistry of specialty coffee in Japan, it offers a sophisticated drinking experience for the discerning home barista.

Impress your guests with a cup so refined, they’ll think it came straight from a boutique café. A darker roast, perfectly suited to percolators and French presses, yet designed to shine in milk-based coffee.

A bold, deeply satisfying blend for those who truly savour their coffee.

      FLAVOUR PROFILE

      Chocolate

      Maple

      Butterscotch

Very smooth, not acidic. We think this would be perfect for you!

      • Thanks @driproast . Ordered 1 kg each of equinox and supernova in Sydney.

        • Great!! We’re really hope you enjoy our beans :)

  • No single origins, so may not be as suitable for pour overs.
Also, a little annoying that delivery starts from $60 - 2 kg is a bit too much unless all your big family drinks it daily.

    • Not currently, but watch this space!

What we would suggest is Supernova. It’s a lighter roast with floral notes and the beans are from Ethiopia and Brazil.

Why is this a good choice? Ethiopian beans (washed process) has super bright floral and citrus flavours that stand out when using the pour over method.

As for shipping, ask a mate if they’re in need of some beans? One for you, one for a friend! Everyone wins 😉

Too hard to organize with friends everyone has their preferences.
You should put delivery fee in title.

  • any blend recommendations for Hario v60 or cold brew

    • Hi!

We would recommend Equinox or Solstice for cold brew. This technique will bring out the chocolatey, smooth flavours of these blends and are great because they aren’t too acidic! We’ve included some info about these blends below for you below 👇🏼
