Kambrook 1.8L Stainless Steel Kettle
was RRP$79 according to catalogue
For a stainless steel kettle, $29 seems like a bargain considering most are still $49+ while on sale.
Looks pretty in the kitchen too.

Will check Merrylands aswell, was almost about to buy one of those trapper home maker stainless steel ones the other day!
Awesome :D I'm picking one of these up to replace the not-so-attractive white plastic one ! The wife will be happy!
Haha I'm doing the exact same!
edit: Bah, was looking at the Iron not the Kettle. :<
Initial reaction: That kettle looks alot like an iron…
offtopic but.. I'm planning to buy the iron, does the steam stuff work well? I've never used an iron that could do it, and i've never seen one this cheap that can do it.
I got my Kettle for $8 from BigW, same price as my Toaster too :P
has to be better than the one in aldi lol stainless steel outside n plastic inside… I was like OMGW00T lol
Beware of the SS outside and plastic inside … there are a lot around, not just at Aldi.
Anyone know if this one is the real thing?
As qtvinsta said before, this was in a catalogue before Easter, but they ran out at my local Kmart too. My Kmart put a notice up saying they had sold out but would take rainchecks. 3 months down the track the finally rang me and now I have a nice shiny fancy kettle to replace my old $14 one from Coles that I bought when I first moved out 6 years ago.
Got my kettle - thanks mamboism : )
this kettle was in their catalog a few months ago for the same price. I had gone to the merrylands store on the first day of the sale the previous time and they had sold out. so will have to be quick this time, unless they've learnt from the first experience.
