  • not sure about the philips one, but if you want a good and reliable hair clipper for home use etc. Get the most basic, cheapest wahl model, i have the white one, i think its the most basic one in the range, super happy with it, never gets warm or to pull hair 10/10 professional grade quality at an affordable price.

    • I have a cheaper Philips model and very happy with it but my son broke the small comb and replacement from overseas cost $20-$30.

So decide to buy a new one.

  • +1

I purchased this 2 years ago and have been using it. It is a good unit with no issues so far. The adjustment mechanism makes it very easy to change the depth of the cut. I have been happy with this unit. I would recommend it.

  • the vidal sassoon pro-50 is a slightly cheaper option that is great clipper
    - 69 before discount
    - $55.20 for pickup up
    - $64.20 delivered

  • I bought a (corded) Remington on special for $12 from Target in 2001. Never oiled it & its still going strong with probably 200/250 cuts.
    That's less than 6 cents a cut!
