Buy something, it doesn't really matter what. Just make sure you sell it at a higher price than what you bought it for. It's a crazy idea, but it might just work.
If the supplier can offer you rebates, don't even worry about if you can sell it at all.

Yeh sure, I'll tell you everything including all the secrets about this business idea I have that will make millions. It's not like I want to be rich or successful. I don't mind someone taking all the credit for my idea and work, nor do I mind competitors beating me.
I love lazy people who just leach off others and want to be spoonfed. I'm always get surprised when people won't tell me their secrets, including chefs who wont' share their secret recipe.I am a chef, FWIW, but if I shared my recipe with anyone, I'd have to kill them.

Here's 3 business ideas. Since you're a chef you could try:
- Catering business - events, venue, parties, corporate, etc
- Meal delivery - cooking lunch and dinner for people and deliver to them similar to lite and easy. You cook a big batch and say on Tuesday you're cooking ribs for everyone and that's what they shall eat!
- Food truck - find workers/tradies and set up shop once in a while
Now I'm not sure whether you want to open your own shop but that's also another option to try. You might even look at a cafe and work only business hours.

One of friends recently bough a pizza oven, got a specially made trailer hooks it up to her car. brings all ingredients with her, buys alresdy made pizza slabs and when we get to venue/event ( she has bookingse every weekend) she lights up the pizza oven and we start preparing the pizzas cooking them and then I hand slices out. fantastic little catering business. she has some wonderful pizza recipes and even some desert ones.
