In 2014 the sale was in November . They already had a sale in February and May this year. I believe they will have another sale this year but I don't think we can guess the timing or prices or if it will be 2 for 1.

Yeah, they don't work for me either, I go yearly around end of April. It seems they've blocked out the peak period / cherry blossom season and then some :(
Also to get the cheapest fare from Mel, there were two stops on the date I checked and a total of 30 hours to get there!
You can shove that Jetstar. Will probably fly with Singapore again next year. Usually get a similar price and much better service / experience,30kg baggage included and I can usually choose a 1-2 hour stopover to minimise the total time to get there.
