Coolicool BEWARE - This Store Should Be Banned from OzBargain

I have bought LeTV from the GBP deal and obviously they did not have stock and did not send me the phone.

First they post the shipping tracking which is just manifest and item has never been actually posted. Everytime I send email to them, takes them 4+ days to reply.

Finally, they admit there is no stock then told me to send a different colour, after 2 weeks still no update from them, I contacted them again and they said there will be no stock of either colours. I told them to provide full refund and they said in email they will do but nothing happen.

I opened Paypal dispute and they even replied to Paypal with the non-existent tracking number. This is their last reply after I questioned them about their reply to my Paypal dispute. They pulled the delaying tactic in hope that Paypal will close my dispute.

"Sorry for the long time waiting. After checking, I am sorry that we have a little problem with the refund, we are trying all out to solve the problem. Once we solve it, we must refund you in 2-3days. Sorry for the waiting and the problem."

It has been 2 weeks since that reply yet no refund has been done and they stopped reply to my email now.

I am not the only one experienced this and I do believe many ppl bought from the LeTV deal also faced the same issue.

Stupid Paypal just send me email requesting further proof despite the tracking number that they replied to Paypal is non-existent. And Paypal only give 3 days to reply to their email which I nearly forgot.

Such a shocking service shop should not be allowed on ozbargain at all to rip-off the community. They should be banned from posting on here. It has been months since that deal and I still yet see my money refunded.

    There are a lot of people who have issues with Paypal; both buyers and sellers. Keep battling away and I hope you get your issues resolved soon; thanks for the heads up on these guys.

  • Keep at it. Keep all correspondence. Paypal will hopefully figure out that coolicool have not done the right thing especially if a tracking number was sent and later they state in a message that they don't have stock. Don't get mad, get even. Good luck.

    • PayPal won't accept communication outside of the dispute process. I had an issue where I returned an item to the seller. The seller responded through ebay messaging system that they received the returned item but after a bunch of back and forth messages they refused to send a replacement or refund my money. Unfortunately for me I returned the product without a tracking number. When I went through the PayPal process they claimed I never sent the item back to them. PayPal refused to accept the eBay communication as proof "as it could be faked"… Don't know how! The only thing they'd accept was a tracking number. EBay sided with the seller and I lost the item and my money. Now the only time I use PayPal is when there is a deal going. Otherwise I just pay with credit card.

      • Wow. With my eglobal dispute I contacted them to add supporting documentation to my claim. They asked me to fax it through. It was images of phone issue along with screen shots/ms doc file of correspondence.
