Best deal for a hotel room or serviced apartment for 1 night in MELB CBD

Hey guys,

traveling down to Melbourne this weekend, and I;m looking for a good bang for buck room in the CBD.

Just need it for 1 night, 2 adults, 1 room.

Anyone know of any good places I can check out?

Which part of the CBD? If you need to be near the Casino/Exhibition Centre, I just stayed at Holiday Inn for a rate of about $ $180 on a Saturday night. If you join their loyalty club you get free wifi. I just searched using Trivago. There were cheaper serviced apartments but I find the quality of some of those can be inconsistent, and I needed to be at the Ex Centre so it worked out well.

My colleague travels for work and always tells people to go to Ovolo. It's a little boutique hotel in China Town so very central. Unlimited minibar and free breakfast.
