man, you're quick :) just thinking about posting this haha
I tried these headphones in store and they were very uncomfortable. Go try before buy.
The on ears or over ears? Found the overs to be alright, maybe a bit small for larger ears… can't stand any on ears by default though
I've got the wireless XL which were horrible when I first tried them on. Tried a pair in another store and they were extremely comfortable, for some reason a completely different fit. Ended up buying when they were around $230 from HN hoping I'd get a comfortable pair, was lucky I did. Not as comfortable as the QC35's but a good pair of headphones regardless.
Still overpriced for what they are.

I've got a coupon if anyone wants one. PM me.
Just purchased an AKG K702 so I don't need the coupon :)

I use the wireless XL ones at work and they're great, solid battery life and good bass… bit overpriced though - the cashback deal they had at the start of the year had them down to $180

Yeah I did the same. for $180 they are a steal with the sound quality and all the features.
I have akg k7xx already…so I don't need this. Here you go guys, 92BTMV7XLG46ZI
I got the XL Wireless at Christmas with the $150 gift card offering and combined with Bing Lee's price of $230, so picked em up for $180 effectively. They are very solid and love how loud they get.
Initially I read a lot into how the ear cups are round and uncomfortable and I was panicking and letting others opinions influence how I felt about them as I was thinking the same without actually really wearing them. Once I just wore them and didn't worry about what others said, I forgot about that completely and they are comfortable (to me anyway). I have medium ears at best though, so maybe those who complain have bigger ears than me. In anycase, they are a fun set of cans and love being able to use them with no cables involved.
Unsure if I'd paid $300 for them, not because they aren't worth it, but more so because I'm tight haha.
For those interested, at amazon.com the wireless XL model goes for AUD$270 delivered where the wired XL model goes for around AUD$175 delivered.
It says in the details: Headphones Features - iPhone
Are these compatible with android and laptop?
I have a Bluetooth 4.0 APTX reciver/transmitter that's a little larger than a 50c coin for 30 bucks delivered.
Based on this I'm going to guesstimate that the Bluetooth components required to build it cost $10 which is probably way to high.
So Sennheiser in my completely unqualified opinion is charging $120 to add Bluetooth to these headphones making $110 profit.
Bluetooth headphones are such a ripoff.
Bluetooth transmitter/receiver, Li-ion battery, amplifier (the sound quality between using the cable and wireless feature is night and day) all adds up… still making a profit but isn't that what a business does?
Me thinks the DAC and headphone amp might be better in the Sennheiser than a cheap Chinese APTX receiver. Still, I have too many headphones, must resist;-)
I've got a coupon but not going to use it, feel free to use it: 925C6JARAC5EPY

How do these stack up to the QC30s?
No active noise cancelling on these for a start…I've only listened to QC20s though so can't really compare sound quality but the XL Wireless ones are decent at least
