  I would normally be terribly cynical of any sales just after the release of the Watch 2.0 but its a mediocre followup of mediocre product.

  So its 'lose lose'.

  I like my Apple watch 1.0 I wear mine all the time and find it very useful. Not mediocre at all. Certainly better than 75% of the android wear devices and very competitive with the higher end android wear devices.

    Can vouch for this as well. Had a Pebble which's screen failed, but the Apple Watch has been great with iOS and watchOS 3 makes it feel like a new watch imho.

        I've been running the beta, but you'd need iOS 10 developer beta. Otherwise just get the release version next week. It's like getting a new Watch.

        @quarrymaster: Ah ok, that's great. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow hopefully - looking at the 42mm sport one. Gold/Blue woven nylon band one. They also have NFC for debit/credit card payments right?

        Only via Apple Pay, which means you'd need an iPhone 5 or later, AMEX and/or relevant ANZ cards.

  The new version of this watch which will be called Series 1 with DUAL CORE processor will come out next Friday: 38mm starts at $399 and 42mm starts at $449

  Myer Sydney George Street has plenty of stock it seems, just bought 42mm black. Apple Store Sydney mostly sold out Sunday, 6pm.
