Plantronics BackBeat Pro Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones $202.99 + Delivery @ MobileZap

71

Good price for those looking for affordable quality headphones with both wireless and noise cancellation as well as good sound to boot.
MobileZap currently showing in stock at $202.99 + 2.99 regular shipping.

However, I actually picked up a pair at Officeworks on Bourke St, Melbourne, using their 5% Lowest Price Guarantee against MobileZap's current price.
Paid $195.68 @ Officeworks. That's a good $150 off their $348 retail price.

This is my first post so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules! Please advise if so!

These are great cans for using at home. I love 'em. Really comfortable, decent sound quality, great battery life.

    • I am using noise cancelling headphones everyday to commute. Why would you need noise cancelling at home? Noisy neighbour?

noisy wife, i bet that is the answer.

        :)

The noise cancelling feature isn't a necessary at home, but it can come in handy when the neighbour's Screaming Shit Machines don't shut up. :)

      • I get a little extra bass.

  • Nice price - just bought the Jabra Move Wireless yesterday though haha

Decent choice for Bluetooth headphones under $100.

  • Does it come with a lighting port connector ?

  • ..

    • what is lighting port?

      • I believe he means lightning port.

        • oh.. apple stuffs…

        • @eisniwre:

          Yes Apple technology.

And no according to the specifications it doesn't have a lightning port. It's either the standard 3.5mm audio cable or bluetooth.

        • @hollykryten: talking about apple, this headphone price is very similar with that newly released wireless earbud from apple.
          wonder which one is better?

        • @eisniwre:

This headphone set is probably better as it's an on-ear design and would likely sound better. It supports bluetooth so as long as your audio device supports bluetooth it should work. I can't see an earbud having better bass and treble. Besides it has noise cancellation which that earbud may not have.

Bought these from telstra… I believe they still have them for $199 if you can find stock.

Noise cancelling is not as good as the Bose but still quite decent… And as soon as you start listening to music u cant hear a thing (other then the music playing ofcourse :)) .

Has a nifty feature where if you take the headphones off while listening to music or watching a movie it automatically stops whatever is playing. Starts playing again as soon as u put then back on.

Very nice sound quality too… Almost perfect to my non audiophile ears and the bass is also not over the top

    Most recommended for the price.

      no deal!!

as @tariqsaleem said, Telstra currently has these headphones @ $199 and it's been that way for a while now.

  • Deciding on some NC headphones for travel etc. Sounds like the consensus is, for the price these are great. Only potential downside is that these are heavier than the QC25 and NC is not quite as good (I don't care about Wireless).

    • once you go wireless you wont look back…

    • Not as comfortable too, depending on the size of your noggin.

I've got a big head, and these have a fair bit of compression. Sold em off cos they were too toight. QC 25's are comfortabler, but wired (and they are what I have now).

      • Hmm, that was my concern. Also a Big Head. Might have to dosh for the QC25. Missed out on the AudioTechnica bargain the other week.

      • Downside to the QC25 was the wire though! not good if you are getting an iPhone 7 I suppose…

  • Officeworks Melbourne won't price match.

Officeworks Elizabeth St - not Australian business can't price match. MobileZap is England and Wales company

Officeworks Bourke St - not covered by Australian Consumer Warranty Law therefore cannot price match.

    Is OW bull****ting me?

  • Can you post up your receipt OP? I'd love to get a set, but unfortunately MobileZap shipping is more than $3…

If I'll take my chances at a match in store…
