Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC 6GB $367.20 Delivered @Futu Online eBay

I just browsed the 20% ebay deal and found the cheapest GTX 1060 6GB card that I have seen in Australia so far. It does have 2x DVI ports and therefore only 1x HDMI and 1x DP, which may be a positive for some and a negative for some. Using adapters should enable you to connect up most multiple monitors though.

  • The Zotac and EVGA ITX 1060 6GB can be had from Amazon for around $345~ shipped however this model seems to have a better cooler as the Zotac and EVGA models have no copper heatpipes and just an aluminium heatsink (I'm no expert but the Gigabyte model probably cools better?).

    • The EVGA 1060 SC has copper heatpipes, just visible in this photo and it's a faster card out of the box, however it's a few bucks more expensive once you factor in shipping (and has been out of stock for weeks). If you're after local and you want it now, I think this Gigabyte card is a great buy.

  • Quick Q…the cable I need for DVI connection is Male to Male right?

    • Yep.

      • Cheers!

  • Cool.. I was looking at the EVGA SC from mwave using the amex $40 back. Makes it $390ish

How does this one compare? Doesn't seem to be clocked as high…

In the end clocks can be adjusted using MSI afterburner. Just buy the GB one. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-dow…

      • Cool, thanks for the heads up! Yeah seems to be a good price!

I have a tiny machine though and this GB seems to sit quite high above the back panel :(

EVGA seems a bit smaller in height with a better chance of fitting….

Such a good price though.. hmmm

  • Almost had a heart attack. Thought it was the mini 1070 from the picture! Phew. Keeping my eye on that one, already come down in price twice…wonder if it'll go down once more before I buy it, haha.

    Anyways, nice find!

  • tempting…

  • Nice find, so tempting.

  • I've been doing a fair bit of googling, but haven't found many, if any reviews on this card. What do you guys know?

EVGA SC seems to be top of the list for me at the moment, but can't find stock anywhere :( This might be a good alternative if I can find out more about it. So cheap too!

    • Yea seems to have slipped under the radar, I've really only found reviews on the Zotac mini. It's Gigabyte though and the price was too good for me to resist haha.

Seems to to 2000+mhz at 1440p at just under 60fps in witcher 3.

      • Cool, good find, I struggled to find much on this card.

        Thanks!

Due to continuing (and annoying) lack of stock of the EVGA SC card, and the unbeatable price of this card, I pulled the trigger.

    • Same quandary for me.. I think I will be pulling the trigger shortly. I have till the 18th I think.. (if stock holds)

My only hesitation is the height of the card above the back panel… Its not gonna fit in my Antec NSK 1380 which I was gonna put it in as an interim before I build up a new PC…. Might need to expedite that build if I buy this! lol

    • Also, trigger pulled. I used free click and collect.

Never been to a woolies before to pickup computer components before!

Does this thing come with a molex to 6-pin PCIe adaptor?

      My PSU doesn't have a 6pin….

      • If it has an 8-pin PCIe connector the usually break apart to accommodate poth 6-pin and 8-pin.

        • Thanks, but the other way. PSU is so old, it has no PCIe plugs whatsoever. Just a bunch of molexs….

      • After receiving mine I can confirm it does not have any cables or accessories whatsoever - just the card.

        • Yup, not good like the EVGA unfortunately. I went and got myself a new PSU haha

    Awesome trippy. Great post.
Just arrived by courier, super fast service. Great card - perfect for Oculus Rift. VR now enabled…

    • Cool, I chose woolies collect. Should be ready mid next week I hope.

  • It's been a LOOOONG wait for a new card - previously a 5770 then when it blew up, intel integrated graphics
Finally pulled the trigger - thanks!
