This won't be everyone's cup of tea but Qantas has launched a 3-day Spring into Summer sale for their QantasLink flights over the Summer and Christmas holiday period. We don't all live in the city, this might help a few of you OzBargainers living in the bush get home for Christmas. Alternatively you could get out of the city for a few days and see some more of our beautiful country.
QantasLink service regional airports around Australia, and it's these types of flight routes that don't often go on sale, due to lack of demand.
Various different routes available, I've just put a sample below. All are one-way but available in both directions.
- SYD <> Coffs Harbour or Tamworth - $89 (usually $129 and $109 respectively)
- SYD <> Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie, Moree or Armidale - $99
- BRIS <> Mackay/Emerald - $99/$109 (Usually $150+)
- BRIS <> Rocky/Bundaberg - $85/89
- PER <> Broome - $209 (Usually $305+)
- PER <> Geralton/Exmouth - $109/129 (Usually $186/$199)
