it seems to be available online but it's $39. I tested a click and collect order for Town Hall Woolworths in Sydney and it went ok (up until the payment bit anyway, that's where I stop)

  • Only 7?

    • In this clearance area. There were more in the promo aisle.

  • Got one from sunnybank hills QLD a few weeks back, its not bad, ink is pretty cheap due to only being two cartages

its actually cheaper to buy a new printer when your ink runs out. (not sure how this is right in anyone's world)

      • +1

It's not. The manufacturer figured that out and sell the printers with minimal ink only. Much less than in a normal cartridge

which is easily filled. But why does everyone put up with this shiteful loss leading rubbish??

      • its cheaper in comparison to the HP one i have which uses 4 cartages which cost around $25 each, the canons cost between $20 - $25

I think this might be a a store specific price which is just a tad lower than the more broader $39.00 promo price as management must want them gone a bit sooner (clearance item).
Hopefully my local thinks the same as we need a new printer. :-)

I got one of these for $10 at Bing Lee Albury. I haven't printed any photos with it yet, just a Windows test page.

It's clear to see they make their money on ink cartridges…

    • Yes that is the problem I found with my last canon, Do you know which model printer would be good to buy with wifi and cheap cartidges?

      • +1

EPSON Ecotank models seems interesting or for mainly document use… any Laser printer (Brother).

        • I currently have an old brother printer and I'm happy with that but don't expect it to last forever, but i got it second hand for $20 and the ink is $1 each. I will have a look at laser printers

  • One left sa Gillies plains 39$

  • Instant regret buying this POS, won't connect to wireless, will bring it back. Dang.
