  For the price better get a laptop with gtx 1060 which have an equivalanet of gtx 980 performance.

    Agreed, Similar price, but with a 1060 and DDR4 RAM (albeit with a smaller SSD)

    Depends what you are after - The ROG G501 has a metal chassis, slim design and a UHD screen. Great value at under $2K.
