Or $590 for the standard MSI 1070.
Tbh personally i bought the gaming x just because i already got one and i want to SLI. I think its safer to spend an extra $17 to get the gaming x just because of the potential higher resale value compare with the standard edition.
Yeah I'd personally pay extra and get that one too.
Has anyone had any experience with futu? Delivery times? Warranty?
Delivery is really quick ~3 business days to regional VIC. Unsure of warranty - but aren't they and Shopping Express the same?
That's very quick! I've heard shopping express aren't great with warranty so I hope not
Well Gigabyte (and MSI) both have Australian support locations. So there is always that fall-back.
Bought my MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X with Futu last week. Shipped from NSW to Melbourne CBD (Click and Collect) and got it within 2 days.
The box it shipped in did say Shopping Express, so I would assume they are one and the same.
Shopping Express are hopeless at warranties. Got 1 reply where they asked a question, I replied and never heard from them again.

They are similar in price and I don't know what to choose, any advise?
I have this card, the fan stop creates very annoying noise when it winds up and down. I would not recommend.
I cannot hear it myself - it seems to only start around 50-55c. If you want to stop the stop-start mechanism, download msi afterburner to set a fan profile - like 10% until 50c so the fan doesn't stop and start but just moves a little faster.
Ya I used the gigabyte extreme set it to 3d off to get rid of it
Also the MSI Gtx 1070 Gaming x for the same price.
