Tbh the $50 one from super cheap auto is just as good. I use mine daily and it doesn't miss a beat
NO, no it is NOT!
It's balance is deplorable and the bearings wear out shit loads quicker, with more noise and vibration.
Invest in this as a minimum, they're owned by Bosch.
Or pay more and buy a Proxxon or Fein.
i've ported 4 sets of heads with one so far, easily 20-30h runtime and nothing is showing that it will die any time soon
Good for dealing with plantar warts
Is this same as the 4000 kit masters stocks just more acc?different case?
Yes it's the same tool.
Cheers!will see if local bunnings still has it.been waiting for dremel to go on sale.was gonna grab the 4200 from masters@ 10% off.this is even cheaper
I opted for the 4000 over the 4200 as it's the same save for the quick change chuck, which when I researched online there were reports of it jamming.
Too many report of 4200 being jammed…
Also as far as I understand 4000 is compatible with any attachment available - all you need a different size collet (collet set).
Just got one from mile end bunnings!still has 2 left
This is a really good price.
I suspect they got these in especially for Father's Day as they didn't have them when I was looking about a month ago.
I was looking for a 4000 model as the 4200 has a quick change chuck that according to reviews is prone to jamming. They are the same model except for the chuck.
I ended up going for the Gold kit from My Tool Store as even with the freight cost it was cheaper than getting the kit with fewer accessories locally and buying the extra accessories separately. Wish I had waited a month.
Thanks OP. Picked one up today in Browns Plains (Qld). They only appeared to have 3 - no price displayed. I had to ask for it to be scanned.
3 left bunnings knoxfield
Picked up one from Box Hill. Plenty in stock!
Down to $113 at Tuggerah
Thanks OP! you are a legend, I have been searching for ages for a bargain Dremel and was just about to give up and buy a different kit with far less attachments and accessories.
Bunnings Ashfield NSW has run out of stock but I picked one up today $169 at Bunnings Greenacre, they have another 3 left.
This is really cheap for a great kit, has 70 accessories including the SpeedClic Mandrel (and disks), Dremel Chuck and drill bit set + a decent aluminium box and all these attachments:
225 - Flex Shaft Rotary Attachment
565 - Multipurpose Cutting Attachment
577 - Detailer's Grip Attachment
678 - Circle Cutter & Straight Edge Guide
550 - Shield Rotary Attachment
The model number on the box is F0134000TA, if your searching specs online it might be missing the first 0 so search "F134000TA"
3 left in Bunnings Chatswood. I got 1. 11 meant to be in Bunnings Balgowlah
Thanks got it for 160 with trade.
Been looking for one for a while.
Also I got mine at bonnyrigg they had about 7 left so I'm assuming nationwide.
