Who is going to be the first one to comment and dislike for the paper being a Rupert Murdoch..
Or say something like—- you can't even use it for toilet paper as it's digital?

    • Murdoch has to find some way to infiltrate those Socialist, commie, Trotskyist, leftie, Marxist, pinko, bastions of education.

Thanks OP. Isn't the Australian owned by a Zionist Empire that is responsible for the death and starvation of millions of people worldwide? If so, no thanks :)

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal sold a lot of his stake. So by if by Zionist you actually mean Islamic then…

The Saudi royal family are far from being Muslims my friend. The king has all sorts of extreme sharia law at home but when on a trip abroad orders prostitutes and alcohol like you wouldn't believe.

        • +3

I know all to well about the Saudis, being muslim myself. But your blatant anti-semitism is revolting. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Wrong uni, otherwise I'd sign up.
I don't mind doing their cryptic puzzle.

  • Many newspapers used to be free on librarypressdisplay but no more.
I would like to find another way to read the Courier Mail online for free.
Otherwise just watch the news on TV.

    • Same here @maxi.
I used to read the Courier on librarypressdisplay as well till the Courier Mail removed themselves from it earlier this year.

These newspapers are too expensive for me to subscribe online. No wonder their subscription numbers are in freefall.

      • You can get most of the news online anyway. And the TV news repeats the same stuff.
The only thing I really miss is all the local ads for specials and sales that are advertised on the paper.

It's all a matter of perspective. I subscribe, I read most of the articles everyday and I find it good value. The Australian also do a lot of giveaways and competitions for subscribers every months. I've been able to snare quite a few free movie passes. So if you get the subscription for free and simply keep an eye on the free deals you're already ahead.

I would if I could use it to line the cat litter tray, but alas, it's digital. Shame :(

    • You just need a digital cat…

I don't see a big deal here, you can read the same leftist crap from their mother website, news.com.au where comments are always disabled to get their antisemitic and Islamist-communist agenda straight for them!
It's not worth anything but as a toilet paper. Looks like all the Australian media resources are the same?

    • +4

Are we talking about the same paper here?

      • +1

Unfortunately yes, they are the same

  • You can usually bypass The Australian's paywall using Google anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • The subscription comes with more benefits like using the app, digital print edition and alerts.

    • Can you bypass The Courier Mail's paywall?
