Those are the only states in Australia or New Zealand so there is no need to specify.

      • -4

There are 6 states in Australia…

Just a warning - some of their stores food handling standards are questionable. Rhodes NSW store - I had food from this store and was in bed from food poisoning for 2 days. Council sent me a report and confirmed that they do not store meat properly and the back room was of very poor hygiene. I used to have food every Friday from this place but stopped completely.

ouch.. cheers for the heads up

I haven't had this exact experience, but am not surprised having visited the store… seems pretty lax.

    • Pretty concerning. I've been eating there pretty often. Do you know if the issue has been resolved?

      • Council wouldn't tell me but I am sure that at least temporarily they have been resolved to pass the council check, it's just that you can't always monitor staff on how they handle food

    • Same as central park, last time I bought it there was visible mould on the wooden plank for the ribs. Haven't gotten sick but it's concerning.

    • Thanks tghtarse, how long ago was your experience?

        May 2016.

    • You'd think they'd publicise all cases not just penalised ones.

Their burgers aren't worth $11 IMO but for $3 hey

    • Lol agreed.

Comes with food poisoning if you're happy with that. =D

If polished man wasn't happening i'd be getting a $3 burger for lunch tomorrow..

    How's the queues ??

    • +1

Queuing up for food poisoning? =p

    • Insane queues at The Star in Sydney. I would estimate 30 people in the queue, and 20 already ordered and waiting, and that was at 11:50 am. Will only get much worse as more people go on lunch break. Knowing how slow this place can sometimes be with just 3 customers, I took one look and said "forget it".

Much better to pay $9 for sit down Thai / takeaway Indian / nice pie + cake, IMHO, rather than $6 for 2 burgers, and enjoy your lunch time rather than spend most of it hungry and queuing and waiting for $3 difference, because time has a value too.

  • Highly recommend adding the American Cheese option to your burger

  • Location in chatswood is abit far to walk. Sad. Ah well.

  • Just ordered 2 from the store at Woolloongabba, QLD. Lots of people at opening time already. They don't seem to be following the limits either as I heard the lady next to me order 6 burgers

  • Unfortunate they ran this promo in the middle of the Grilld/Polished Man campaign.

  • Nom nom nom. Just finished mine. Bought from Central Park Sydney.

    • Was it busy?

      • it was on lunch time, but when i came back at 4pm, it was quiet.

  • Rhodes has sold out

North had barely a line and everyone was ordering everything but this burger!!

Thanks OP for sharing, appreciate it!
