And extra 1gb Guvera bonus till Nov

        (Edit…..if still current?)

        • Kind of, though Guvera have shut up shop in Australia. Those that have already accessed the Guvera bonus in the past will still get it until Nov, if not - no bonus.

        • @sjp1808:
Thought afterwards I remember something about that……its been automatic for me for the past couple months/invoices

    • Extra $1 for students.

    What about from here?

    $29.95 13GB

    Uses Optus network too.

    • The entirity of the Optus network or a cut down wholesale version?

From the rep on the other deal:

There are no speed caps for Optus MVNO's. Full access to the Optus 4G Plus network. We do find that some folks are not aware that they need a compatible device.

    • It's close, but I would probably say the OVO one wins out. You would need to use approx. 50 hours of music streaming a month to get better value than 3GB of data. That said, if the Premier League thing interests you then they can probably swing you over. Be aware OVO has streaming of assorted racing/gymnasics stuff included, though that part doesn't interest me.

Wish the cheapest plan with EPL wasn't 90

I got the 10gb unlimited calls sms international calls etc for 40 a month with epl free for this season?

Also got fetch for 5 bucks more. Pretty happy with it.

Saw this yesterday. Thoughy it might be useful to me as I needed to upload a few GBs for work today. Nothing online about it being online only, so I went in to an Optus store and got the rudest treatment ever. Tried to sign me up to a 12 month contract and were just plain condescending. Lost my business. Found some good Telstra Air hotspots to do the job instead.

If you already have a postpaid plan with Optus, buy this to add 10GB to your shared data pool.

I signed up and threw the SIM card in a drawer and use the extra data over my iPhone and iPad using 4G.

I wish this was on Telstra… Optus is fine in cities but Telstra absolutely dominates rural locations :(

    • Telstra will never offer something of this value.

Telstra tries to position itself as a 'premium service' hence the higher cost. The marketing department are very careful about what competitor offers they match for fear of damaging this reputation.

Telstra through Woolworths mobile have 16Gb for $ 22.5, ( $20) if you have a Woolworths rewards card. Sale starts tomorrow. No lock in contract.

        • Is that Telstra or just Telstra network?

        • Telstra network. So only access to 4G, not 4GX like telstra telstra have.

        • @daniel12345:

I'm on woolworths and can pull 100Mbit symmetric in some coverage areas. Plenty fast for me…

        • Same here, am.on Woolworths mobile. Most I've pulled is 100mb, on a redmi note 3 pro (grey import from China ) with no band 28 ( 700mhz).

That test was just random, when I was out and about.

        • @daniel12345:

Additionally this is a whole different kettle of fish. Telstra have a structural separation between their retail and wholesale division. That is why you will get Telstra network products like this but not Telstra branded.

        • @jimmej:
Then nbn construction is waste of money

Now I wish my phone had dual sim :(

  • This plus my phone will equal 21gb for 85 bucks…. now i need a dual sim mobile.

  • Does anyone know if the free music streaming applies to existing users of Optus resellers? (Vaya)

  • There is a SIM-only phone deal for $40 that includes 10Gb, unlimited calls, + 300 international minutes.
