Mwave having a sale on these SD cards right now, pretty good deal if you factor in the AMEX cash back

Even cheaper if you live in NSW and can pick up.

Thanks OP, I had given up on the mwave credit! #GottaSpendMoneyToSaveMoney

  • Nice.. but I've given up on AMEX years ago.. haha

    • i tend not to respond too much to the AMEX cashback deals
But when there is a good priced deal in addition to an AMEX cash back, it works pretty good
Even before the AMEX cashback, this is the cheapest on staticice by >$15.

      • Everytime I see one of these, I wonder if AMEX was ever worth the annual fees and the fact that not many places use them.
Anyway.. good to see people can take advantage of being a member.. :)

        • My AMEX card doesn't have annual fee. I mainly use it for online purchases and never had an issue.

        • @Ryballs: Nice.. Must have been a new addition to their cards for no fees (never had it back when I first applied many years ago). I had their gold and was being charged like $200 a year.. Wasnt worth the plastic it was on given the amount of uses I had with it. Might reapply if this is the case.

  • Good price for Aussie stock.

Any cheap 256GB Micro SD cards in Australia?

    • Looks like no-one's interested in this particular local one on eBay for $150-ish and only 5 hours to go: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SAMSUNG-EVO-Plus-microSDXC-256GB-… Lots of others have attracted many bids and still have many more hours left so it's a bit strange this one is the way it is. Shhh, don't tell anyone ;)

      • Says,
Write speed up to 90 MB/s
        REALY????

        • +1

The Samsung evo+ 256GB is U3 class (the smaller capacities are U1 though)

      • @steveandbelle this is your listing isnt it? because if it wasn't and you wanted it, you wouldnt post it here. "shh, dont tell anyone", even my spam filter would have picked up this line.

          It's so obvious

Ha, no. Nothing to do with me! I just did a search for what seemed to be genuine question by a fellow OzBargainer. Next time I don't think I'll bother. Good deeds seem to bring out the Neggers. Seems to be the neo-OzBargain way unfortunately :(

  • Thanks and bought.. stacks well with Amex and Mwave dollars :)

    • How do you get Mwave dollars?

      • Previous purchase, they give you a percentage back to spend within 6 months.

  • I wonder if the Amex cash back works with the Qantas Amex which has no annual fee https://amexnetwork.com.au/OurCards

    • +1

Yes they do, I get these regularly on the Qantas Amex premium card.

  • Anyone have experience with these working in the DJI Phantom 4? Google isn't coming up with much.

  • thanks~! :D
edit: DAMMIT OUT OF STOCK :~(

  • Anyone with a Macbook Pro Retina- this is an incredibly cheap way to get some extra GB's. All you need is this cool thing (http://minidrive.bynifty.com/). It fits flush in your laptop. I even game from it (in Bootcamp)

    • thats what I bought it for. Got a dell XPS with the recent ebay 20% deal, this is an easy way to effectively double the storage

    • +1

or save yourself $45 and get this

      • got one of these before- they don't sit flush. Which (for me at least) was a deal breaker. Beware- all Macbook's have different SD card slot depths

      • Thanks for that - AWESOME!
Wifes 2012 256GB MBA was down to 4GB. Ordered one of these yesterday after I read your post and it arrived today(!)
        ROOOLY happy.

  • Sold out, price is back up to $125

    • I bought one 2 minutes prior. Must have got the last one!
      Thanks OP

  • Damn missed it :-(

  • damn, I was in the middle of the order and then when i confirmed, sorry out of stock
It comes to a total with delivery to $141 now….

  • +1

Aren't mwave reps regularly on here? Reps can we get that price as a deal please?

  • My order has been dispatched!

  • I just got a phone call from mwave to "verify" the order, pretty weird
they ask me name, email, address, the bank my CC is with etc
    is this routine?
I guess they are just being careful.

Guys back in stock at $105

    • How much was it before it went out of stock?

  • THanks just bought one

  • Thanks OP, just got one :D

  • +1

So for local aussie stock and a reputable seller

    ROFL.

  • I almost bought this from the ebay 20% off sale that ended a few days ago. Would have been $104 shipped. I balked because I didn't actually need it and it would probably be cheaper before I finally do need it. Glad that I waited.

Something I should mention about Sandisk though. It seems you can't do warranty directly with them anymore. After WD bought out Sandisk, Australia is no longer able to deal with them on their web site no more. We aren't supported. Even if you go to Sandisk AU's contact details, it links to North America. Try to request RMA, it asks for your country and only the ones on the drop down list are supported.

If you need warranty beyond the 12 months RTB warranty with the supplier, you're SOL, even though many of Sandisk's products carry a lifetime warranty.

I'd be wary of buying any more Sandisk products with long warranty from here on.

  • BOUGHT!!!!!! OMG!!! Can't believe a groupbuy got restocked!

  • Damn… just a bit too slow… it's out of stock again!

    Coming up as $127.99+shipping :-(
