It's Still August, It's Still Cold, Yet Most Stores Have Gotten Rid of Their Heaters and Replaced Them with Fans?

So, do people always plan ahead when buying small appliances because that's the only reason I can think of.

or are they more likely to impulse buy, just like me right now.

What other reasons could there be…

Just leaving a comment to come back to later ty for the lols so far

  • its better to stock up now (if you dont have any at home). you dont want to wait till the temperature gets to 40degrees and all Kmart, Big W, -you name it- sold out of all the fans! been there done that

A true OzBargainer would have bought the fan in the dead of winter and the heater in the middle of summer.

Should be here before summer too.

Procastinate any longer and you'll be buying an air conditioner.

  • I went to bunnings one jan/feb to get a desk fan. They had sold out of them. I said theres still a whole month of summer left?

Oh no you mustn't complain about that on here! The grumpy forum dwellers will come down on you like a sack of bricks! And then you'll have to eventually tell them to calm down!

      • Haha, once again, OP upset not everyone agreed with them, so now we're grumpy.

  • Buy an R/C aircon. You can have heating and cooling, and the best part is that you can buy them at any time in the year.

    • Pretty much spot on. Only problem with the one at my place is it's quite noisy late at night, so I've always wondered if the neighbours had any issues with it.

      • Mine is virtually silent… It's around 14kw in size and is ducted to all rooms.
