Is The Store Zapals Trustworthy?

Found this store called Zapals while searching for Xiaomi 10000 mAh Power Banks. Price seems alright and shipping time is decent too. I have no clue about this seller or website, anyone have experience with them? The link is this

        At this point you're not going to see any deals regarding power banks from Everbuying. Everbuying no longer ship power banks to Australia.

        Banggood is still an option however.

    I've made 2 orders so far, both have arrived no issues.

    If you're concerned about shipping time, don't buy from any store that has "free shipping". Pay the extra and use the priority mail (i.e. banggood)

    I had about 8 orders from them. Some were their completely free deals. All arrived for me over the last 12 months.

  • I have placed many orders with this company. Some items did not arrive and they refunded money. However, in April I placed over 10 orders with them and 6 did not arrive. I contacted them and they offered me reward points equalling the amount of items not received. I agreed to this. Then a couple of weeks ago I was advised by their support staff that they have decided to do away with their rewards - points programme. I asked for my refund to be given via PayPal. It's been over a week and they have not responded. Today I made my claim through PayPal. Their on line chat support is hopeless. They actually stopped our chat when I questioned them about the money they owed me.

      • Same with me. Ordered end of Nov. last year and they have no idea what happened. No track, no nothing.

        I suspect these people arent even shipping orders. You cant tell me that the amount of "lost orders" in this thread alone is normal business.

    Paid for DHL shipping, item is worth 130aud.
    Paid on the 2nd of feb.

    After SO many emails they finally reply a week later saying "it is delayed and will be shipped soon"
    on the 12th, 10 (profanity) days later they FINALLY upload shipping information to DHL. OH WAIT, it doesnt stop there!

    now it is the 16th, and NOTHING on DHL tracking. they STILL have not bothered drop it off at DHL.

    so long for the fast service i paid for, useless zapals i don't even know what they are doing at the office.

    Go GEARBEST or EVERBUYING guys. Zapals is useless, no matter the price.

    • Agree - I ordered a Nitecore in December + 4 freebies (though expensive shipping!). Big mistake in not ordering tracked shipping (which would have added 15% to the price).
      They claimed they shipped in 9th Jan - as 4 seperate shippings!
      Complained last week (after 7 weeks) that nothing had arrived - they claimed chinese new year delays .. but ALL 4 seperate shipping packets??
      Still havent got it - c'mon it's nearly march.
      Store rep just asked me to wait 1 more week…. gave me a link to http://www.saichenglogistics.com/EN/ to "prove" it was shipped.
      Will contact paypal now.

  • I agree - I ordered some things from them a week and a half ago and have been given mixed messages. My complaint ticket told me a courier picked it up on Feb 18 but they never gave me a tracking number. The system just shows the order as processing. Subsequent complaints and messages via their Facebook and 'help' system have advised it has yet to be picked up but should be any time today or tomorrow (I was told this 4 days ago). I have just asked them to cancel my order and give me a full refund.

    Unfortunately I didn't pay via PayPal and used my credit card. The lack of cohesive correspondence and useful information is not worth the hassle. The whole experience has been horrible and I will never deal with them again….. now I just want my order cancelled and money back.

    I just purchased my first item thru them, I was hesitant at first but glad I did, they were a little slow on processing my order but all in all would use them again

    I have ordered something g and paid express shipping. A week later they are still processing order and I haven't gotten an answer from their rubbish customer service. Eglobaldigitalcameras sent me a mi 4c 5days after ordering. Zapals are slow and horrible. Nev r again.

    I have purchase 2 identical lamps.(AUD$125) One was DOA. Zapal wanted me to send it back to Szenchen, China which exceeds the cost of item (AUD$65). Paypal will not recover postage so I have given up and will not purchase from them again. I can not recommend them. I buy through Gearbest and Banggood only now. My loss.

  • This is the shop you should try to avoid if you can. Good luck if you try to contact the customer service. Also when you see your item is not shipped yet for a long time and ask them the status, they won't reply to you for weeks until the moment they ship the item then they reply and send you the tracking number. And they would say they shipped it a a couple of weeks ago. However, when you check the tracking it didn't show a week ago but 2 days ago. I would strongly suggest to look elsewhere especially Aliexpress if you want to buy from China because you can easily communicate with the sellers and they ship much quicker. Otherwise, you can cancel easily too. With Zapals, good luck in cancelling your item.

  • Terrible customer service and faulty purchasing system. Their system cleared my address from the order and used my email address as street address. When hitting submit it gave an error message but no opportunity to fix it so the entire order was shipped to an email address. Product didnt arrive and was returned to the seller. Customer service are unwilling to give a full refund on the product. They also wont reship without charging me for shipping again.

    I had made a different order before all this happened and its been 3 weeks and I've yet to have a shipping notification or any response from customer service about the second order. I paid for 5-8 day shipping as I required the items soon.

    Will never deal with them again.

    There's a rep in this thread. You can tell they dont care because if the rep was normal he'd be asking everyone here about their case and seeing how he can rectify their problems.

    The cases are there, why are they ignoring them?

    Their website stated a processing time of 2-3 days, it took 12 days
    Their email stated 5-8 business days postage, it took 13 business days
    Their email gave a link to the dhl website and gave me a tracking number, that didn't exist.
    The charger sent with the phone had a USA plug, despite them telling me it was shipped from the Australian warehouse! They have told me they only stock US plugs and maybe I could buy an adapter.
    WILL NOT SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN!

  • Yep - exactly what ladyangua said. The delivery times and delivery method, including stock availability form part of the product description, whilst ordering online. The practice of hiding some sneaky T&C's around more likely delivery elsewhere on the site, is cheating. The description is false and misleading and to reiterate earlier comments and my experience: no reply from emails, facebook requests, telephone call. No office number registered in Australia and no contact number provided when requested of them. An online chat person who had the audacity to say 'TRUST ME' (in upper case) about the delivery being made within 9-11 days…12 days after he claimed the item had been sent. 4 weeks down the track, I'm still waiting with my tracking number. Missed the event I needed the item for and have to go rent/but something instead.

    If you'd like to experience the ultimate online disappointment, I strongly recommend buying from Zapals - else, steer well clear.

  • Finally, after over a month awaiting an assured 5-8 day delivery, I got my item. Zapals didn't reply any emails until a negative review was posted, then they offered $20 hush money ("…for my valuable time"(?))on the proviso that the review was upgraded to a positive one. Needless to say, the $20 was never honoured.

    NEVER use this company again. They represent the complete online horror story all rolled in to one experience.

  • Rubbish company to deal with. After ordering items with a 5 - 8 day delivery, I've waited 4 weeks and still no items. After 3 emails to them telling them to provide a full refund or send the items, all I get a f*(king emails asking me for feedback on their customer service. i will NEVER deal with these a$$holes again..

    • Hey don't forget over the "Chinese New Year" holiday period they just had, there will be delays.
      There always are delays for all of the companies in China over Chinese New Year.
      I suggest patience.
      I bought so much stuff from this company, I had 21 packages turn up on one day.
      I have bought cheap stuff and expensive stuff (over $20 worth) and it all turns up.
      The more expensive stuff with shipping cost is quicker.

  • I have never had an issue with Zapals. Sure, some items did take a very long time (eight weeks plus). I don't think that this is their fault.
    Also, I should add that I have had 10-15 orders with them.

  • Does anyone know how I can get a refund started? It has been 2 months since I placed an order and yet to receive my item. The online customer rep has advised me to wait a further 2 weeks - am pretty sure my item will not arrive.

    At a loss as I used my credit card and not Paypal. Is there a number I can call or should I just go to my bank?

  • I ordered a product in November and it never arrived. I have attempted to contact Zapals 4 times and received no response. I wouldn’t trust them.

    I've contacted their customer services 7 times without any reply.

    IT APPEARS ZAPALS.COM HAS CLOSED UP SHOP

    Their Apps are still in the stores, but their domain no longer resolves to a website.
