  Haven't heard the new Sony one so can't comment on sound but it does have NFC, Longer battery life & be used through AC Power but doesn't have a speakerphone inbuilt

I was in JB comparing both speakers I can definitely can tell the difference in bass. I have the older gen Sony SRS-X2 but I got it for $50 odd dollars if I can remember.

Anyone else find the GG site so slow it is unusable on a PC? On an iPad it is just super slow but useable.
