    Mine warm up on the outside more quickly than plastic USB sticks, but that can mean the metal is simply doing a better job dissipating heat from inside. Haven't noticed any symptoms of overheating yet, typically transferring 5-20GB at a time.

    I have one - it gets slightly warm when you do lots of writes, but not hot on various PC's and laptops.
