Will be flying soon and have been waiting for a deal on Bose QuietComfort's, still not sure if QC35 is worth premium over QC25's though? Will probably only really use when flying (travel for work) and don't think the QC35's add much in this situation…?
Worth every cents! The QC25 doesn't do well on high volume, the QC35 is very decent on high volume. You can also answer phone calls with QC35 wirelessly, which is a plus!
I've used my QC25 on many flights, including long haul (Aus to UK) and they were fantastic. I've never needed to go over around 75% volume to cancel out all sound. I've never noticed any real difference in sound quality at high volume either.
If you are using them for mostly flying I don't think the 35s will be any better for the extra cost really. Also remember that you'll have to use a cord if you want to watch in-flight movies, to plug into the headphone jack.
If you want to just wear the 25s to sleep in silence, the noise cancelling will still work without the cord attached.
Will probably settle on the QC25's, typically I do just watch an in-flight movie or two. Cheers.
