Amazon is soo massive, they wouldn't give a rats a*s about some public attention on a fake deal. They would actually tarnish their rep, so more likely clerical error. Error deals like these have occurred in the past, what was the outcome? Did Amazon stand by their pricing error?

  • Thanks OP, hope it goes through since Amazon are selling it :P

  • +2

Even at Amazon conversion rate it was still only $337.00 so it isn't a big issue. Definitely hope this is honoured.

  • +1

ordered but i think like the $500 usd gtx 1080, this will get cancelled tomorrow

  • Refund will be incoming soon I guess but worth a shot seeing as it's Amazon

  • -2

Ordered 3. I was looing at buying a 2tb over the weekend but just didnt want to spend $900… now for that I can get 3!

    • Careful kids, 3 is the max unless you want to be slapped with GST.

  • +2

    Don't need it. Bought anyway!

This should be translated to Latin and put on the OzBargain coat of arms =D

Non opus est. Et emit eam.

    • True OzBargain spirit right there :')

  • Thanks OP, I jumped the gun and ordered one as well.

  • Ordered one as well…we shall see. :)

  • Placed the order see how it goes lol

  • +1

I think the price is reduced even further. I have placed an order @ EUR 206,19, don't need any but purchased two :). When I really needed it, the price was over $1000 (I think it still is. Seems pricing error here).

    • +1

      VAT is removed at checkout.

      • Over-excitement you see……didn't realize that. Thanks.

  • bought it. THanks

  • -1

Is it correct that they don't charge you until it ships?

    • +1

      Yup.

    • It charged me $1.49, I assume if its not cancelled they will deduct the rest when its available.

  • So so so tempted to try, but I want or need a camera lens, tripod and the upcoming Apple watch more. Fantastic deal if they follow through with it.

    • +11

Buy this. Sell this for profit. Buy lens/tripod/watch with the money.

  • +1

Just do it as all they can say is “Now go away you OZ bargain pig dogs or I shall taunt you a second time!”

    • +2

I fart in your general direction!

      • Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries

  • +2

Deal is so good that Amazon is probably buying some for their servers :D

  • -8

Order canceled. No deal. Call ACCCC!

    • Did you get an email?

  • Bought - mainly for the giftcard I bet they will provide for the price error.

    • What value voucher do they normally give?

      • I'd expect 10 off an item supplied by amazon.fr

  • +2

This would be amazing. Praying to the RNGJesus of honoring price errors.

  • +1

  • +1

I love this kind of "trainwreck" deal… just to see what the reactions are ! (& a little bit of hope that the order goes through because BARGAIN - woo!).

Poor CS people at Amazon dealing with cancelling the floods of (at least) hundreds of orders. Let's hope they have a script to cancel each transaction easily.

  • +5

Don't buy more than one if you wish they would honor your order.

they lose big money for every one they sell at this price 337 lol

    • +4

I shed a tear for amazon when they lose money

      • This is why we can't have nice things
Because scumbags are still too happy to rort decent companies that actually gives customer service.
If you order large amount for reselling, yes thats you.

Good luck competing with lots of other people all trying to resell.

        • Tell that to Gina and Rupert or Malcom Turnballl re: NBN.

And also Telstra / Foxtel (such a great company) Providing services for Australia.

Oh what about IBM? They are a great company too, hackers are the reason.

Oh dont forget the Chinese, and their buying of Aussie property. It's just all too bad for young aussie battlers.

          @Turd:
