      thanks updated

    • "Unfortunately the discount code you have used is not applicable to the contents of your basket."

      • worked for me!

      • It looks like they've disabled the coupon for this item. Still works for other products.

      • It didn't work for me yesterday, but I just tried it again and it is working. Ordered one.

best price I've seen - was on ozbargain some time back for $150 as I recall.

Bought one, was posting up the deal when I found you had already beaten me to it! friend of mine has 2 of these, 1 front, the other back which he uses for recording motorists in case of an accident. He has 1 on the handlebars, the other under the saddle. thois is the cheapest I have seen them, Pushys had them for $150 last year and I was upset I missed out at that price, this is the cheapest I've seen them. only weight about 86g I think.

  • Nice camera - I use this for my cycling have got mounts for the helmet and also for the headset. Very light weight, very good quality video and photos… battery life can be better. Still it does it jobs for 3+ hrs ride, it is waterproof with no additional housing, that is one big bonus and having wifi connectivity makes this camera a good value for money.

can be used as Dash Cam for vehicles?

    • +2

Li-ion batteries don't fare well in the heat of cars in summer. It will work but the battery might die quickly. The specific dash cam ones tend to use a capacitor instead of battery, and will do other useful things like rolling writes so you don't have to constantly erase the card.

      • Just remove from car after driving? Hassle I know but does the job

        • +1

Might as well buy a cheap dedicated dashcam that does the job better?

        • @eug: size of them turns me off. I don't own this but a Möbius. Besides, you can't strap the cheap car cam to your cat and let it run around.

  • Does anyone know the quality for night/low light recording?

  • -1

Expect to get it delivered to your door just before Xmas…

    • Are they that slow now? I have bought from PBK in the past and the order arrives with in 2-3 weeks max.

      • I bought a DA Crankset from them about 2 months ago, they sailed it over from the UK strapped to the back of an arthritis riddled turtle. Even then the Turtle took the chance of a stopover drinking pinna coladas by the beach at a resort in the Cayman Islands on the way. took 3-4 weeks to get here and my bike build sat idle waiting for the cranks. I could have paid for express shipping but the Ozbargainer in me railed at the thought of avoiding free shipping!

        • I ordered some stuff from PBK on the 31st of July which got shipped on the 1st of Aug. It still hasn't arrived yet.

I ordered more stuff from ChainReactionCycles on the 2nd of August. It got shipped on the 4th of August, and I received it on the 8th of August.

I also ordered some stuff from Wiggle on the 12th of July. It was shipped on the 13th, I received it on the 22nd.

CRC's definitely the fastest. I've made two other orders from CRC in the past month and they've been just as fast. 12 July -> 19th July, 26th July -> 2nd Aug.

They're all using the free shipping method too.

Sounds like you are making a porno!!!

        thanks for posting….just bought one.

I'm constantly getting close calls here in WA. Motorists here are appalling, especially on country roads. Now I can film my own death

        • @slipperypete: i just received mine a couple of days ago.

          FINALLY

hope you get yours soon too

        • @connectz:

Nope, they have sent me through a refund. Really disappointed in them!!!

  • Anyone have one used on ether a motorcycle helmet or mounted on the motorcycle?

  • Cheers kangaroo! It's no GoPro but for incident camera use, it's worth $100. Now to find a cheap PRO under saddle mount :)

    • +1

Welcome! the quality of this cam is way better than what incident cams offer. its a good buy.

  • Cashrewards worked for me on top of the discount.

    Price: 102.59 - 3.17 = 99.42

    Thanks OP

  • Won't let me add the coupon 'Unfortunately the discount code you have used is not applicable to the contents of your basket.'

  • some questions for current owners -

    1) anyone tried it with >32GB microSD cards? even though the paper specs says no, hoping that technically it works..

    2) will the camera still record while being charged? Since the battery is non-removable, hoping that I can extend the runtime by plugging in a battery bank.

    Thanks!

  • has anyone received their order yet

    • I heard they were slow but it said it was dispatched. You need to contact them and get a form submitted
