Q - "Here you go James, you're latest gadget."
James Bond - "is it some sort of lazer guided electronic magnetic pulse disrupter?"
Q - "no, times are quiet so we have bought you a Jim's Mowing franchise. Go out and prune some trees."
James Bond (with a smile) - "well, if i'm pruning trees then I might just get a root."

    • Inb4 any 2.4m pole jokes better than this one.

  • Long reach shaft

Why did this make me laugh? Must be my dirty mind at work again.

  • Thanks Trent, just snagged one.

  • Thanks for this. Grabbed one too. $11.60 it's worth a stab

  • Great value

  • Bought one this morning and broke on the second cut. Where the pole joins the cutting mechanism is a plastic collar/molding, maybe 1-2mm thick. My brother in law pinched my old one which had a thick metal bracket at that point.

dunno. the collar is plastic but i didn't have any troubles with it and i wasn't particularly gentle with it.

  • Grabbed one. Thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP, bought!

  • i bought this at normal price a couple of months ago and used it, along with some rope, to lop the whole top of a big tree. you work up a sweat but it does cut through branches reasonably well.

  • Curses not having any Masters nearby!

  • Anyone know how tall it is without extending it?

  • Great for the price, anyone with trees or hard to reach creepers would find it very useful. Reasonably well built. Lopper a bit hard to use when the cutting blade is attached

  • Anyone know how to work it? It came with no instructions

    • screw on the blade, use blade to cut through branch, or use rope to snip through thin branches

      • Yep, thanks. Figured it out after watching a Youtube video…
