I have no idea about this product and am not defending it but please take the time to read a full sentence (no matter how bad) before getting on your high horse

If this dryer detects that the clothes are dry and stops heating it will save electricity compared to a unit that relies on a timer and guess work. I read nothing saying this is an energy efficient drier.
I use a clothesline and in winter a clotheshorse indoors. That's the OzB way!
(To help clothes dry indoors:) You can also use a dehumidifier if someone or the house requires it, which will output about 900w heating for 600-700w input!
It's winter so heater is on anyway. In summer use the sun
Thanks, got one. Nice price given that delivery at other places is expensive.
This is cheaper on the ebay store http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Fisher-Paykel-DE4060M1-4kg-Ve… $345 delivered. Plus use the code CAPOL10, and get an extra 10% off. So $310.50 delivered.
(EDIT: Delivery dependent on location of course)
How is it 30% off Retail when HN Sells it currently for $369 as normal price

Save electricity with 2 stars? Only dryers that do save electricity are heat pumped ones at 5+ stars that cost 4 times a vented one.
