    Agree completely Jamesx. Although on its own merits, this is a good price for this camera, the fact that we've seen the 'street price' at $299 in a previous bargain doesn't make this as appealing. I've been looking for a new Pentax body for a while now, but just knowing that it has been available for $299 means I'm not inclined to pay more than that for this particular body.

  Even the successor to this camera is more than a year old!! Doubt anyone would be spending 500 on this camera that didn't do well when you can get something newer and better..

  But for that offer there were only 9 available, and no bag. That was also an amazingly cheap offer, and I don't think you'll see prices like that often.

  I for one can't find it cheaper anywhere else, so I think that constitutes a bargain.

    It's a 2 year old camera. $22 cheaper than the next competitor and a free 16GB memory card. Just a normal clearance price expected for an old model to get rid of stock. Hardly OzBargain worthy.

      $22 cheaper than the next best clearance price and a free 16GB memory card and a bag. Assume about $20 for the card and perhaps $40 for a cheap bag, so that's an additional $60 worth of accessories there. Don't get me wrong, it's far from a fantastic deal, but if I wanted a camera similar to this it's a good offer.
