  • Is it real leather?

    • +3

      Sure is

  • Why would we pick these over $10 available all over …ebay, markets, etc

    • +6

I bought one of this slim wallet from palmera apparel and the quality is really good. The leather is real and soft like good quality soft. I have never bought the $10 ones from ebay etc but I dont think the quality is as near as good as this one.

      • Thanks!

@51ngh there are a bunch of real reviews available here: https://palmeraapparel.com/collections/slim-leather-wallets/…

I'd sell for less if I could, but at $8 in Aus Post shipping costs $20 is about as low as I can go unfortunately

And that's because of the box that it's in. Sell it without the box, and the shipping will drop to $1 for this slim wallet.

Maximum thickness for a letter is 2cm, how thick is the box btw?

  • I might finally grab one, no more guitar pick slot …

6 cards is a bit little for me though, does it look bad if squeeze 8/10 cards into it? Does it deform the wallet?

    • I'd recommend those apps where you can take a photo of your loyalty / medicare card so you dont' need to carry around.

it will fit in - but there won't be much room for notes. and if later you drop from 10 cards to 6, it will not be ideal as the leather will have stretched slightly.

    • Stocard is one I'd recommend. Scanned all my cards into that and never had an issue scanning them at stores.

These are nice and quality slim wallets with fast delivery, though the Dash wallets are even better, but twice the price. If you haven't tried slimming down this is a great way to give it a go and see how you like going light.

  • Any promo codes for the watches?

    • This code applies to the watches too

  • There seems to be two products that are the same (but with different logos). One is rrp $35 while the other is $30 (pre-discount). Only real difference I can see (besides the logo) is a different leather.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the leather between the two?

    • One is RFID so you can't scan cards through the wallet.

  • If the lowest i could do is 6 cards but slimmer is preferred, should i go the 4 or 6 card version?

    • I have 6 cards and use the 4 card version. It's a bit tight at first but with use it will accomodate 6 cards + 4-5 notes fine. If one of those 6 cards is a thicker access card for a door for example, you may be better off the 6 card version.

Thanks rep! Purchased the 6 card version.

        • Thanks!

  • got it last time. save your money go to kmart for half the price

    • +1

      Yeah, care to elaborate?
Or should we all assume that you are the resident card wallet expert?

  • Rep why do you only sell the card wallets?

    • With smartphones replacing the need for a lot of cards (e.g. loyalty, medicare, anything that just requires knowing a few details can be saved in your phone via a picture), I see the trend going towards fewer cards which I am focusing on.

A bifold or trifold with a coin pouch is added thickness which I try to avoid.

That said - I've got a travel wallet under production now that is passport sized for travel.

      • Thanks for reply. I always use a bifold or trifold. May be its time to change 😊

For anyone wondering - I've had one of the 6 card wallets for 6 months now and I think they are awesome. Quality is very good and it is still in excellent condition after being used as a daily driver for that entire time. Initially it's a tight squeeze for 6 cards, but once broken in they fit like a charm and won't fall out.

Awesome timing as I was literally thinking about buying another one at lunch time today. Bought a black one to go with my brown one. Cheers

    • Thanks mate!

  • Bought the 4 cards one, how about making the 6 cards wallet with RFID protection?

    • It's on my list! A question if you don't mind (open to everyone) - do you prefer the palmera lettering or the palm tree?

      • +1

I would have prefered the 6 cards but few things made me take the 4 cards:
        - the rfid, not that anyone tried to scan my butt yet
        - the logo, i find the palm tree a bit oldish
        - the cut on the edge, i don't know if it's the photo but the sides of the 4 cards look much cleaner and straight than the edges of the 6.

  • I bought mine 9 days ago and I have no update on it. The tracking number is SXB5468604, when I click on it, it directs me to google … please help

EDIT: I got the delivery literally few seconds after writing this …

    • Apologies for the delay - it should be 4-5 business days - looking into what happened there (also the tracking numbers aren't displaying correctly - apologies for that).

      David
