I have never seen a heated jacket before, good idea.

      battery pack is quite heavy

    • I've got a Bosch one, battery is quite heavy in the pocket but does have its uses sometimes to also charge my phone (via a usb charger)

      • +2

I have both the Bosch and the AEG.

Bosch jacket is quite heavy but very warm.

AEG is lighter and not as warm but better tomove around and work in.

I generally use the AEG for everyday working and Bosch for the footy.

Tony's tradies are doing it tough you know.

    • No jv you asked the wrong question. You should have asked where is the deal here? Why do you have to pay $150 for a jacket that looks like Dalek?

      • You should have asked where is the deal here?

        I thought that's what I did ask.

What did you think I asked ???

  • Husband has one
Heavy jacket but does keep you very warm on winter days

I had a laugh at this - could see some practical uses but the other side of me is thinking 'I also hear they sell concrete' ;)

  • how many hrs do u get out of it?

    • +1

roughly 6 hours on the low setting

      • +1

Better than I would have expected.

…going by the food deals posted here most ozbargainers would have plenty of in built insulation from their excess of nuggets & dominos so no need for most users here ;)

I cant imagine a situation in australia where you need a heated jacket.

    Australian Antarctica maybe.

        Tasmania

        If we're naming random states.

        • Your response is like something from "the inner world" which I've been playing. Made me laugh.

        • yeah right.. middle of winter and it's still t-shirt and shorts weather for me, as an ex-pat Tasmanian. Bloody mainlanders are soft!

      • Great for the football or rugby.

I have the milwaukee hoodie and hi vis jacket. Can get uncomfortable when driving though. But seriously warm. Wanting to get the newer USB version

    • +4

I feel like I've died a little reading that someone wants to upgrade their hoodie to get the newer USB equipped model.

      • +1

Tool allowance baby. Admin lady doenst know any better. Receipt just says milwaukee so she be like ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • I just noticed the hoodie is down to $49 from $99. No battery or charger though.

    • very limited sizes at Fern Tree Gully branch

My wife's a whizz on the sewing machine so I just had our electric blanket knocked up into a jacket

    • You can actually buy a 12v cord for it.

  • I don't understand this ?? On sale you can get some good quality down or synthetic insulated jackets for the same price or less that are very light and very warm.

    • Heated down jackets exist but they cost a little more than this deal (US$199).

If they did the ryobi one + jacket….
    I'd be buying it.

2am, 3am, on graveyard shift outside in middle of winter…..wind knifing straight though you.
Long sleeve thermals, t shirt, long sleeve shirt, drill shirt, jumper, vest, jacket, wet weather gear, beanie, gloves……still cold.

One of the older guys wears a motorcycle jacket, with a power bank\battery bank style charge to keep warm. Was about 400 for that jacket so I understand.

49, or 99 for a hoodie that takes batteries I already have and charger I already have…..Seems like a good option.

  • No wireless charging? No deal

  • Anything to keep the willy warm?
You never know when you have to strip naked and she asks "Why so small?"

These are great. 3rd winter now and still going strong. Hood is detachable, jacket is very water resistant and comfy. Looks good enough to wear over business attire too, no bright colours or crazy designs. Battery pack is massive but included 2.0Ah battery does last awhile and it's tucked out of the way, no problems wearing a large backpack and commuting on foot.

    • If its only water resistant and not water proof then I wouldn't want to be you when it stops working due to rain.

      • Rain just boils off, dude.

  • For those who are still looking for these jackets there are still S and 2XL sizes at Springvale VIC stores when I was there tonight. There are also heated hoodies available for just $49 (these do not include battery/charger).
