WTF? What's that going to be useful for (apart from selling on eBay??)

Have you ever heard of 'giving yourself 'the stranger''? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • +7

I didn't bother to look at what this thing actually was until I saw your comment. But when I did, I was not disappointed

      • +2

Some chikos are bigger than the others…

    mail in the packets?

What century is now, need to spend $5-6 express post and live in Metro are in order to win.

    Too much afford

    • +2

or one stamp and pop them in an envelope.

      • -2

you will lost as you may not be the first 200, then you waste the time and money to post.

        • It's still based on a draw - you could be the last entry into the draw, but first entry out.

        • +2

Or drive to the Mount Waverly post office, locate the correct PO box (may require social engineering) and put the envelope in.

Then watch and laugh while the Australia Post network crumbles under all of the entries to this competition.

      • or one stamp and pop them in an envelope.

It seems that any form of common sense or ability to read is lacking with many people.

  • looks kinda rude to me.

    BORING

    • Someone clearly doesnt like their Chiko rolls…….

    Upvoted for Pete Smith.

  • What did I just watch?

  • +2

This is the most useless bargain ive seen.

Can we buy a 4 pack of frozen Chikos from Coles and get 2 hands? So I can use it for holding a whopper?

    • +1

Sure, if you want to hold your "whopper" with two right hands.

    • Jimmeny willikers, are you saying I can buy Chiko from Coles?!

(Honestly I haven't heard the word Chiko in 2 decades. I didn't even know they were still a thing. I'm not sure, as an adult, if I would still put one in my mouth.)

      • +3

        Dude…..

They're cheap as too. Usually about $4.50 for a frozen four pack, regularly on sale for $2.59 for 4.

We're living in a golden age.

What about those places that serve their Chiko rolls in Corn Jack packets

  • +5

It would be a good deal if it was the hand of the chiko girl. I would be using it daily.

    • I didn't even know there was a Chiko girl.

  • +2

    Could be handy

  • +4

Just use a sock. No idea what to use to hold the chiko roll.

  • -4

Chiko smells like 'spew in a sleeping bag'! :)

    • Take that back.

      • Next time you have one, take a bite and sniff it. Let me know whether it smells like spew or not. The truth hurts!

Btw, I love both Chiko roll and Corn Jack. 😃

        • Dude if they smelled like that I wouldn't be eating them.

  • I think a rub and tug will be healthier

  • How do they know I got the bags from fish'n'chip shop? And why do I have to mail it????

    • +4

      You could try emailing them…

  • +1

Could use the hand for something else, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • +2

Cool, this was the last body part I needed for my collection. I've managed all the others.

  • Does the oil from the Chiko Roll count as lube? If so, double bargain.

  • +1

The frozen packs from the supermarket contain 4 golden tickets.

    • +2

My husband hangs on to everything. We have no Chiko rolls in the freezer but have 8 bags for… I have no idea why. I can't wait to tell him that he's got chances to win Chiko Hands!

      • +1

Ahaha that's what I do too. For no reason I can explain whatsoever.

      • +1

Why don't you enter for him and surprise him with a chiko hand? ;)

        • +1

          Shall do!

(I was sooooooooo tempted to reply with something naughty but I'm ignoring my inside voice at the moment because it's getting me into heaps of trouble lately.) :)

  • Best advertising posters that i saw when i was a kid waiting for my chiko roll to cook.

Genius Australian Invention Gives Nation a Hand, Literally

1,200 other Australian lives will be changed over the next six weeks, as the chance to win a Chiko Handy Holder opens up. With punters having to simply purchase two Chiko Rolls, then mail in their bags to be in with a chance, well, why not?

“I’ve had incidents in the past where I was unable to acknowledge drivers with a thumbs up for letting me merge into their lane. The Handy Holder has freed me up to use my hands and be a better person,” says Darren.

Iconic Aussie broadcast legend, Pete Smith, says that he too is better off with the Handy Holder, and believes it’s a crazy, fun idea that will catch on: “I’m confident it won’t be long before people go into their local fish and chip shop and ask for a Handy Holder. The Chiko Roll brings back a lot of memories for me, I was a young man when they first launched – and I can tell you, an extra hand would’ve come in handy a few times back then!”

        Nice!

Did you get an email before they sent it to you?
Also what day did you mail the two packets?

I'm planning to send 2 today since the draw takes place on Monday.

        • +1

I did not get an email at all. It just arrived in the mail.

I mailed the packets on Monday morning. I took it as 'the first 200' of the week so I thought that would be in the earlier ones that showed up for the week.

          Good luck!
