Have a double drawer F&P and the concept is magnificent for us!
We can load a drawer, wash that and keep using the other drawer. For us it means we only need half the time before starting a load.If you can fill up a full sized dishwasher more frequently then obviously they will be better :)
Too bad none of the better brands seem to do it.Recently bought a westinghouse wfs6606x for $650 from HN. Was on sale. normal price around 800. quite happy with it.

Most of them are actually paid to the manufacturer so they determine the price.
The point is their website banner is completely misleading.
So who will this appeal to? These are goods you'd typically only buy one of every few years.
I'd expect mine to last more than a few years. Mine is currently broken so it's great timing for me. Would be attractive to anyone who needs an upgrade, is doing a reno on their kitchen shortly etc etc.
People like me.. Just moved house and need a new dishwasher.. Perfect timing.. Ended up with the Euromaid Black Glass dishwasher for a smidgen over $600.. (rrp $999)
Recommendations on brands? or things to keep in mind?

ive been researching this morning and it seems like smeg is overated and miele and bosch are the ones to go for. Miele can be hit or miss so personally i think im going to go with a upper end bosch when the website starts working for me again!
I have a 20+ year old Miele and never had an issue with it and it is still going strong.
Say its going, you cant say its strong until you know what you compare it against…..
i.e. we were keeping our dish washer door opened for few hours (after it finished its cycle), and we realized my sister's new bosch dish washer does it perfect without doing nothing, finally we changed ours with bosch which was on sale few years ago@Damnsmart: It compares equally with the Bosch, never had to open the door to get dry dishes etc. Miele and Bosch are both quality dishwashers.

The bosch are fairly overrated.. The Westinghouse gets fantastic reviews.. Dry dishes seems to be a problem for the Bosch
discount doesnt seem to be working now, anyone else having this issue?
I've found that no matter which dishwasher I pick none of them give the 20% discount.
Just after the deal was posted the 20% applied to all then the website went "screwy".
When it went back to normal hey presto no more 20% discounts.Crap, shouldve bought immediately :(

Yep same, apparently the promotions team is working on this issue (was told on the phone) then in a facebook message I've been told all discounts have already being applied. Wish I checked out when I had the chance!

I contacted them again and they said unless I managed to check out at the cheaper price they can't match it. So it does sound like they will honour the ones that did go through :) fingers crossed for you tho
So atm Most are reduced 20%, the price shown includes the 20% but there are some that are playing up price wise and needs to be fixed, you can always head in store :)

Has anyone managed to get a cheaper price than what is advertised, free delivery or anything else ?
I would prefer to pricematch at JB due to having vouchers, but it's not in stock at local place so not sure if there's any point going in.

I've had my eye on a certain model for 2 months, and this is the cheapest its been, even during EOFY sales - I figured if I didn't buy now, I'd probably be waiting till boxing day.

Thanks. I had a look before posting on here but I find a lot of the time, user reviews are generally disgruntled customers who go online to vent after they've had a bad personal experience. I couldnt find any reputable reviews besides choice which I don't have access to. Was hoping someone on here had some personal experience.
I pulled the trigger anyway as I buy gadgets at the same price without batting an eyelid and when it comes to appliances that should last many years I hesitate.
I guess I'll be able to review it for myself soon.
