I went into store and they match the price on the website. Got two pairs of shoes at 48 each and some socks at 4.80 to make it 100.80 minus AMEX cashback of 30 made it 70.80
pn09 is correct if you look at the T&Cs. Also fairly sure the website doesn't even give you the opportunity to pay via AMEX.
I ended up ordering a couple of pairs of Deacon shoes from shoewarehouse as they were cheaper, and had a model that I'd bought from Hush Puppies when they had a sale a few years back - which I've been very happy with. Thanks for the tip to look outside the Hush Puppies website :-)

"no returns or exchanges" is actually illegal as per Australian consumer law. Lot of retailers get away with this but they aren't supposed to. U can always force them to return or exchange a product, I've done it many times at stores with no return policy.

If you quoted the whole sentence you'll see you selectively emitted the crucial bit "for change of mind".
A retailer does not under consumer law have to return, exchange or refund because the customer changed their mind. Many do as a goodwill, however this is not 'law'.
If the product was faulty, not working as intended or as promised by the retailer (for intended purpose) etc. then yes, that would be rights for a redress with the retailer regardless if they have a "no returns" policy or not.
Yeh so only an idiot will say they changed their mind when it comes to shoes. with shoes it's easy Just say they don't fit. Simple!

Can confirm, I bought a pair 6 months ago on sale without thinking too much. Once I got home and inspected them more, I realized the leather is sub-standard plastic feeling, the stitching is fake and the sole is more foam than rubber (in a cheap feeling kind of way). Would not recommend.
Not sure of today's quality but I have a pair from 2010 (Manor) that are still going strong! Super comfy and they've held together nicely. Real leather and solid stitching.

Huge warning to everyone. Check out all colours in store before buying! I purchased 2 x charcoal pairs of shoes and online they're blueish/gray/charcoal. When in fact they're GREEN in real life. A HIDEOUS GREEN!!!! Im canceling my order now.
This company is using deceptive and misleading samples online for several colours!
Sometimes the laptop or PC screen could be the issue. Colors are most of time misleading on screen, compared to when seeing it physically in store.
Nonetheless, you have a point as well, there should not be that big a difference. They will do anything for sales!
I use mobile. Colours are pretty accurate! Ive canceled my order and ive been refunded.

I bought two pairs last time they had a sale and selected size 10 US but they shipped size 10 UK. I managed to get a shipping label to ship it back for free but I didn't get around to it quickly and now they have refunded due to lack of stock. We never discussed a refund. I would have liked to have been able to discuss my options.
Overall, not happy with the outcome, but I guess it could have been worse.

I was actually just looking at this yesterday. Not sure when the code expires but if you pay with Amex and have registered for the mid-year offer, spend over $100 and get $30 back as well. After a look around though I found https://www.shoewarehouse.com.au/mens/brands/hush-puppies/ had some of the shoes still cheaper, in more sizes and also eligible for the $30 cashback. My problem is trying to spend over $100 as my usual shoe is only $50 and there's nothing else I want - do I offer my wife to buy new shoes (she seriously doesn't need any more unless you ask her)
