Learn to swim week 2016 will be held during the September holidays from September 24 – October 2.
It is an inaugural awareness week aimed at educating parents on the importance of teaching kids aged under five to swim. It’s also about reminding everyone about the importance of water safety.
During Learn to Swim Week, free swim lessons are offered to children aged under five at participating swim schools across the country.

Normal Vacswim is only $1/lesson, IIRC. Under 5s not included in that?
Hi manic. Does VACSWIM only operate in WA and SA? I searched for a VACSWIM program/info in VIC, to no avail. Also I noticed that the prices in WA per lesson ranged from $3 to $7… I didn't see anywhere offering lessons for $1!

Price has gone up to $13 for 9 lessons. Enrolment opens 29 July. $3 would be pool entry. Does not apply if lesson is in the river etc.

Registered through my local pool who contacted me today, said they knew nothing about this offer and was wondering where it came from. Anyone else have similar experience?
Do you have the list or do you know how to find the list of participating swim schools?
I can find the swimming school but not able to find one actually offering free swim?
